Has just reported its 4th quarter 2022 and Full Year 2022 Financial results today and its share price jumped 3.7%. In the past month AMD share price has increased by 17% but is still down  by 35% in the past year.

Wall Street Analysts are also bullish on AMD with a Buy rating and a median target price of USD 91.82, a potential upside of 22%.

AMD's revenue for the 4Q2022 was USD 5.6 billion, up 16% compared to Q42021.  Its Gross Profit is up 18% to USD 2.8 billion and Gross margin is up 70 bps to 51%.

According to Lisa Su, 2022 was a strong year for AMD as it delivered its best in class growth and record revenue despite the weak PC environment.  AMD has accelerated its data centre momentum and completed its acquisition of Xilinx, significantly diversifying its business.  Even though the demand environment is mixed, AMD is confident in their ability to gain market share in 2023 and deliver long term growth. 

I am excited about AMD's new products offer g in 2023 especially in MI 300, the world 's first integrated data CPI and GPU which will be launched in the 2nd half of 2023.

AMD is on the cutting edge of the latest technological advances in semiconductors. 

I am bullish on AMD and expect it to grow exponentially in the future.  AMD ticks all the Core fundamentals of a quality stock with an excellent management team too. 

However due to the current macro headwinds of high inflation, rising interest rates, AMD share price may be volatile but with a long term horizon, AMD is a great stock to invest in.
