โ ๏ธ Good price vs Good company โ๏ธ
My target ๐ฏ : good companies that i came across from tiger news or tiger friends sharing, added in my watch list. Good companies criteria:
โ Profitable and gives dividend. Business related to daily life to be sustainable.
โ EPS PB PE in the acceptable range, compare peer to peer too.
โ Gearing ratio (debt) not more than 50% also depend on what industry/business, peer to peer too.
I know it's sounds boring, however i love Warren Buffett methods of picking stocks. I have $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$ and hold it dearly, although still paper loss and no dividend. in fact if go down to 250 i will buy again. So far I bought 2x, at 346 and 311.
I stay away from speculative stocks.
My REITS went down, i still hold, recently added $Prime US ReitUSD(OXMU.SI)$ 0.37 today sold that qty 0.425 then i switch the funds to $MANULIFE US REIT(BTOU.SI)$ boughttoday 0.275 because still near to 52weeks low. I will buy back Prime if it went down again. However always see the p&l or EPS if loss, i will stop.
I just buy back $FU YU CORPORATION LTD(F13.SI)$ at 0.22 yesterday because i sold at0.26 previously.
So although i like good companies in downturn Market i try to find them at a bargain price. Bull market, buy at fair price is ok but must have cash to buy some qty if it went down. Just like i bought my first BRK at 346 ๐

I made my profit from $UNITED OVERSEAS BANK LIMITED(U11.SI)$ because I identified it at 26+ as a good price for a good company ๐
