👑👑👑Even though Singapore is the most expensive city in the world next to New York, I am so grateful that I am living here and not in New York.

Here in Singapore, we are very fortunate to have a high standard of living.  It is safe and we have a strong and stable government with good infrastructure and amenities.  Singapore is a place where most of us own our very own homes, bring up our children and establish a good career.

Singapore's inflation has grown at the fastest pace in more than 13 years.  This is due to higher prices of food, services, lodging, vehicles and everything across the board. 

Singapore is indeed one of the most expensive places in the world to own a car.  A small car can set us back easily by almost SGD 200,000.  Fuel prices have shot up sky high.  Grocery shopping is an expensive affair, let alone eating out. 

However with prudent management of funds, I can minimise the effects of high inflation by making sure I have a diversified portfolio of assets from property, stocks and bonds.  It is also good that I have CPF funds too.   These investments will help provide a buffer to counter against high inflation.

When I compare Singapore to countries like Ukraine, US and the UK, I am indeed very grateful to be living here in Singapore where I feel safe and secure.  Indeed there is nowhere in the world quite like Singapore, my home and country.😍😍😍🌟🌟🌟🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬
