True to form, October CPI euphoria continued its assault last Friday albeit a smaller force for both Dow Jones and S&P 500.

Overall :

1. DJIA : +0.10% (+32.49 to 33,747.86).

2. S&P 500 : +0.92 (+36.56 to 3,992.93).

3. Nasdaq : +1.88% (+209.18 to 11,323.33). Finally above 11K mark. Best show ! Will  market continue to trend upwards this week ? What do you think ?

3 Boards - moving averages

Looking at the respective board's Moving Average - for now Dow Jones is definitely trending upwards towards the peak of 36,799 (04 Jan). S&P 500 and Nasdaq still have some distances to go still.

For starters, the pre-market indicators are all showing "red waves" across all 3 boards - kinda reminds me of what mr trump said about "red waves" on the run up to midterm election.... Whahahah.

Except it did not happen for the Republician party. Hope its the same when market opens in 7.5 hours later.. Agree ?

I don't think there is anymore steam left in the Oct CPI "rush". So will have to fallback on Q3 2022 earnings reports to carry us thru the week.

Retailers'Q3 2022 earnings report this week.

Spotlight will fall mainly on "Retail" stocks this week; its their Q3 2022 earnings reporting time.  

Will they deliver a strong or stronger than expected results ?  And contd to propel market towards their respective peak ? Really hope so ! Need a breather from earlier doom & gloom, no ? Hee hee.

At the same time, i will still be watching 2 stocks just in case they dip, I will be ready :

a. $Deutsche Bank AG(DB)$ 

b. $SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$
