[Weekend Topic] Have you ever lost sleep over stock trading?

It is said that different types of investors have different sleeping postures. After trading stocks, how is your sleep at night?Regular investors sleep on their backs, seemingly enjoying good sleep quality.Quantitative traders sleep on their sides, appearing to have something on their mind.Professional traders sleep face down, possibly because they are wiping tears with their pillow. No stop-loss traders cannot fall asleep, staying awake until dawn.Have you ever had trouble sleeping while trading stocks? It might be because you bought a stock you don't understand, worrying about whether it will fall;Or maybe you've heavily invested in stocks, exceeding your psychological tolerance;Or perhaps you've become a bag holder, tossing and turning at night, wondering whether to cut losses. How is your

Sleepless Nights in the Stock Market: Analysing the Thrills and Spills

Ah, the world of stock trading β€” a realm where fortunes are made and lost, and sleep becomes a distant memory. As an avid participant in the stock market, I must confess that I have not lost any sleep over my ventures; quite the opposite, actually. In fact, I find the analytical challenges and rollercoaster rides of stock trading to be downright exhilarating. For those unacquainted with the thrilling world of stocks, it might seem like a daunting endeavour, a labyrinth of numbers and charts that could give even the most seasoned mathematician a headache. However, for me, it's a playground of possibilities, a chessboard where every move counts, and the stakes are high. The sheer volatility of the stock market is akin to a rollercoaster ride, complete with unexpected twists, turns, and the o

[Sleep and Investing][Happy]   Way back many many years ago when I was a super noob investor, I did experience loss of sleep over "investing". What was I doing and what happened? Leveraged Forex Trading[Surprised]   Yup, I did that and was all into pure technical play. I was reading lots of news on countries and crystal balling too. (NOT a recommendation) As a result during my hallucinatory profitable days, I made more in a day than in my monthly salary. I was thinking that I should quit my job and be a full time force trader. What goes up must come down. Yup, then the crash happened. I started pulling in more with blind faith that things will suddenly reverse. It was not trading, more akin to insane gambling. Couldn't sleep and couldn't tell people how much I loss dail

Here are some of my thoughts on the topic of stock trading and sleep quality: - Stock trading can be a stressful and risky activity, especially for those who are inexperienced, emotional, or greedy. It can affect one's mental and physical health, as well as one's relationships and productivity. - Sleep quality is an important indicator of one's well-being, as it affects one's mood, memory, immunity, and performance. Poor sleep quality can lead to various problems, such as fatigue, irritability, anxiety, depression, and chronic diseases. - Different types of investors may have different sleeping postures, depending on their trading style, personality, and attitude. However, these are not fixed or definitive, as there may be other factors that influence one's sleep quality, such as lifestyle
