I am frankly alarmed by Trump's relentless push for new tariffs, kicking off another round of tariff wars. On July 12, he slapped a 30 percent tariff on imports from Mexico and the European Union, and just a day earlier, on July 11, he announced a 35 percent tariff on goods from Canada, set to hit on August 1. This aggressive approach feels like overkill, and I'm growing skeptical about its effectiveness given how frequently he's resorting to this tactic.

I'm convinced the market won't just shrug off this new wave of tariffs with a blind eye. These hefty levies are bound to stir up chaos, and I expect volatility to spike as investors panic. With the implementation looming in a couple of weeks, I'm bracing for a rough ride, and I doubt the market can stomach another round of trade disruptions without a serious backlash.

I'm hopeful—though not overly optimistic—that changes might still happen before these tariffs take effect. The political and economic pressure has to mount eventually, and I'd love to see some last-minute negotiations derail this plan. Trump's nonstop tariff strategy feels like a broken record, and I think it's high time for a rethink before August 1 arrives.

The "Taco Trade" staying intact is a small consolation, but I'm not holding my breath. I suspect this nod to Mexico's trade, maybe with avocados or other goods, might be a hollow promise if these tariffs wreak havoc. I'm worried that key trade relationships will suffer, and I'm frustrated that this could undo years of progress in those markets.

The markets are just waking up to this news, and I predict sectors like manufacturing and agriculture will take a beating. Trump's tariff obsession is testing everyone's patience, and I'm eager to see if the backlash gains momentum today.

Overall, I'm fed up with this tariff spree. I firmly believe Trump's nonstop tariff approach won't work if overused, and I expect it to backfire spectacularly. The next few weeks will be a mess, and I'm bracing for the economic fallout while hoping for a swift policy reversal.
