A mid sized company that I have in my portfolio is MEG. Niche market in environmental services with strong revenue growth. Being less crowded than mega tech brands there is meaningful upside if they are successful in their execution.
AMRK is another stock I hold in my portfolio which I believe could deliver an upside of around 50%. Dealing in precious metals trading and bullion distribution it will benefit when traders start to switch back to holding gold and silver as a safe option. They have recently turned a profit and it is an understandable business instead of a speculative one. Risk is there though if gold and silver prices drop.
These are the 3 stocks I will continue to hold.
1. NVIDIA (NVDA): Entered post-GTC breakout above $200 with strong AI momentum and bullish guidance. Trailed stops near 20-day EMA.
2. AMD (AMD): Bought the dip near $140 after DoE’s $1 B contract news. Expected sympathy rally with NVIDIA’s AI surge.
3. Gold (XAU/USD): Re-entered around $4 000 as a macro hedge amid dovish Fed signals and central-bank demand.
4. Apple (AAPL): Took short-term call spread pre-earnings, expecting recovery in iPhone and Services revenue.
5. REITs (CICT, MLT): Accumulated ahead of possible 2026 rate cuts; focus on retail/logistics REITs with strong balance sheets.
Overall, I favoured momentum-based entries supported by earnings or macro confirmation—combining trend strength with risk-controlled scaling.
CEO Mike Lyons admitted performance is below expectations, but the new leadership team — including Paul Todd from Global Payments and co-presidents Takis Georgakopoulos and Dhivya Suryadevara — could mark a fresh start. Sentiment is clearly bearish, yet if the turnaround gains traction, this selloff might become a long-term buying opportunity.
