$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ is currently like a lightning rod. The structural need for memory is real, making a strong case for a supercycle. However the price you are paying for that future is heavily intoxicated by peak market sentiment.
History screams a warning to those buying at the top. At these levels even a tiny piece of bad news, a minor shipping delay or a change in a single customer's budget could trigger a brutal avalanche.
It is much better to buy $VanEck Semiconductor ETF(SMH)$ compared to buying just SanDisk alone. That way if SanDisk has a bad day, your portfolio is protected by other companies inside the fund.
SMH includes the top semiconductor giants like $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ and much more.
Maximum value, minimum cost! That is my favourite way of investing.
