I m in the process of selling off my US ESPP shares to avoid family paying 18-40% estate tax in the event I RIP.Not for retirement purposes but estate tax. As most of you are aware that any amount in excess of USD60K, there is an estate tax of maximum 40%.To make life easier for my family members, i m slowly selling off my ESPP.I dont think it is worthwhile engaging lawyer to bring my USD back to the estate.Why not i do it myself while i m still alive and use it to invest in SG stocks where i park them in CDP as they are transferrable - as long as you list the beneficiary in the will. I m on track with my 2024 KPI SG dividend as this week I hoot $UOB(U11.SI)$ and $ocbc bank(O39.SI)$.[Happy] [Smi

Have not been shopping for SG stocks for past 1.5 months as busy with work. “Fighting” with customers. Last night, $SIA(C6L.SI)$ has announced a dividends of 0.38 cents [USD][Happy][Smile][Chuckle]. 0.10 cents more than last year. I m in cloud 9 [Miser] as i will be receiving a 5 figure dividends. 😱😇. Ever since my DBS Vickers Cash upfront account was approved, I just go stocks buying as their brokerage fees is very low. Moreover, the stocks purchased will go to CDP. That's what I always wanted. Being a long term and dividends driven investor, I just DCA and compound for the long run. This morning I was looking at my UT portfolio, I was shocked that I m extremely high risk investor. [Happy] [LOL] [Smile] [Chuckle] . only 1 out of 6 high risk UT not doing good. The other 5 are flying colours. 1 low to medium UT & 1 medium to high UT are doing so so. Looks like I have better luck with high risk UT rather than low to medium or medium to high risk UT. I love a particular sector UT but their annual management fee, annual trustee fee & expense

I m back to River Wonder to find my inner peace and soul during these red Red Sea market. Thereis nothing much we could do during this volatile market either you cut loss or DCA or doing something you enjoy to make you happy. Most of the traders will cut loss and move on. Yesterday I went for the Swifties event organised by Jewel. I not a fan of hers but just accompanying my friend there. I was impressed by how the fans dressed up for the event. Even little girls, maybe age of 5-7 y o, came dressed up like Taylor Swift - in their boots. They even remember every moves of her songs[Salute] 🫡. Not 1 song but all the songs done by the band. I really enjoyed the 2hours event even though they didn't manage to get Taylor Swift to grace the event. Jewel's intention was to get Taylor Swift to see the new forest. #SeeTheNewForest. You won’t believe it that I was invited for an event at Levi’s Ion Wed night, 9 Oct, via LinkedIn. I was expecting a talk on promoting Loqate products. Instead, I was given $250 to shop. 😱🤦♀️🤕😬🙄. I called my family members as I don’t have anything in mind. I thought they will tailor made my jeans as they mentioned customisation. Thank goodness my family members have something in mind. Hence an extremely early Xmas from me - courtesy of Loqate. People used LinkedIn for looking jobs whereas company invited me for such event. I don't think DBS, UOB and OCBC should worry as they have their own strong base of loyal customers. I am one of them. 😇. Indirectly, these 3 major banks have been improving their services way before TrustBank came in the play. No doubt, Trust is trying to attract customers with their annual fees waiver credit card and their co-operation with NTUC, I doubt consumers will be attracted to it. I am one of them 🤣🤣.
