🌟🌟🌟From the Biblical Story of Noah & The Ark comes Cathie Wood's $ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK)$  with a laser focus on companies that exhibit "Disruptive Innovation".  These are companies that can potentially change the way the world works in the future. 

It has been a roller coaster ride for ARKK.  In 2020 ARKK surged more than 152%, even beating Nasdaq 100 Index return of 43%.  However in 2021, ARKK was down 24%.  Then in 2022, ARKK plunged 67% compared to Nasdaq's 33% annual income.  However ARKK is rebounding in 2023 with a 32% jump currently.

Zoom Video, UIPath Inc, Block, $Roblox Corporation(RBLX)$

Roku's share price has jumped a massive 49% in the past 5 days due to strong Q3 2023 earnings report.  Roku grew its Total Net Revenue 20% year over year.  This is due to strong performance in content distribution and video advertising, along with unit sales of Roku Branded TVs which were launched in March 2023.  For the first time, Roku's Streaming Hours surpassed 100 billion on a trailing 12 month basis.   Roku's 49% spike in share price has boosted ARKK. 

Coinbase has jumped a huge 19% in the past 5 days and it is up a massive 155% year todate.  This is due an excellent Q3 report.  Total Revenue for the quarter was USD 674.1 million, bearing Analysts expectations of USD 650.9 million.  Coinbase also reported a 3rd quarter adjusted loss of 1 cent per share compared to an expected loss of 55 cents per share, making this a 3rd consecutive earnings beat for Coinbase. 

Coinbase share price has been boosted by the news that the SEC will approve a Spot Bitcoin ETF soon.  It has partnered with Blackrock in this ETF. 

In contrast Tesla's share price is up 5% in the past 5 days but still up 103% year todate. Tesla's 3Q 2023 revenue is up 8% year todate at USD 23.35 billion.  However its Net Income has dropped 43% to USD 1.85 billion.  Tesla has been cutting prices on its EVs and that has certainly taken a toll on its earnings.  However Tesla has turned the corner and actually started to increase prices on some of its models in China and the US. 

Cathie Wood is now looking to launch ARKK in Europe next year following the acquisition of Rize ETF in September 2023.  ARK Innovation ETF is Cathie Woods ' Flagship Fund. 

Cathie Wood has also partnered with 21Shares in the US for a potential Bitcoin ETF too. 

ARK Innovation ETF is an actively managed ETF with an expense ratio of 0.75%.  So far there has been no dividend paid for ARKK since December 2021.

Wall Street Analysts are bullish on ARKK with a Buy rating, Target price of USD 54.90, an upside potential of 35%.

ARK Innovation ETF focus on Growth and Disruptive Innovation which would change the way we live in the future.  It is an exciting ETF as it has huge exponential growth ahead.  But it is definitely not for the risk adverse investor.  

I like Cathie Wood as she is forging a new trajectory into the future.  It is certainly not an easy task but so far this year, she has picked some great winning stocks.   Let's hope ARK Innovation will continue to grow and ultimately reach its safe harbour in the future under Cathie Woods ' guidance.
