$NIO Inc.(NIO)$  is gearing up for the marketing of Onvo, Ledao in China with the sub brand's official debut expected in a month's time.  This is a key brand for Nio to achieve scaled volume growth and amortise its manufacturing costs.

Nio is also testing the use of Humanoid robots on its factory production lines.    According to Yi Peng, Nio's Head of Humanoid robots, Nio is testing the Humanoid robot with fixing the humanoid robotic arms in tight spaces and multitasking with 5G and vision algorithms.  Nio is also planing to use humanoid robots in  some quality control processes.

Nio plans to  use the humanoid robots as a solution in dealing with increasing labour costs.  It is still early days but if successful, the Humanoid robots can help Nio to cut down its manufacturing costs.

$XPeng Inc.(XPEV)$  delivered 9026 vehicles in March 2024, up 97% from 4545 in February and up 28% from 7002 a year ago. In Q1 2024 XPeng has delivered 21,821 vehicles which is in line with its guidance range of 21,000 to 22500 vehicles.
