🌟🌟🌟My All Time Favourite Investing Guru is the wonderful late Charlie Munger who has taught me the value of patience and time in the market.

My favourite Charlie Munger's wise saying is "The Big Money is not in the Buying and Selling but in the Waiting".

That is why I believe in investing in quality stocks that tick the core fundamentals of profitability, rock solid balance sheet and an excellent management and holding them long term.

A good example is $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ which has just announced its first ever dividend.  When it went below USD 100, I did not panic sell but held on till  now.

Thanks to Charlie Munger I am now up 51% on Google.    That is why Charlie Munger is my favourite investment guru.

I would like to recommend a book instead of a master, <<A Random Walk Down Wall Street>>. A simple Regular investment plan on $Vanguard S&P 500 ETF(VOO)$ can beat 80% of investors.

Confirm is Warren Buffett, legendary investor, focuses on buying undervalued businesses with strong futures (intrinsic value). He prioritizes long-term ownership and a margin of safety to weather market storms. This value investing approach, while requiring research, has proven successful for Buffett @TigerEvents @TigerStars @SR050321 @MHh @LMSunshine @HelenJanet @Fenger1188 come join in

I think there are quite a few gurus starting with Uncle Buffett, Aunty Cathy and so on...

investment is a marathon so be patient and not think of getting rich overnight (though that would be fantastic) [Grin] [Grin] [Grin]

be ready always for the unexpected and have risk management... there are of course many others...

🏙️📘👮‍♀️Stocks and the City: Trading Places with Peter Lynch 🕵️‍♂️💼🏙️

Peter Lynch is like the Sherlock Holmes of investing for me. His principles are my trusty magnifying glass, helping me decipher the clues in the market jungle. From "Invest in what you know" to "Boring is often beautiful," Lynch's wisdom guides my financial sleuthing. Thanks to him, I've learned to look beyond the flashy headlines and focus on the fundamentals, sniffing out those hidden gems that others might overlook. His principles have transformed my investment approach, turning me from a mere observer into an active participant in the exciting world of finance.

With Lynch as my guide, I take the lead, in the market's tide, I plant my seed. With wisdom to heed, and strategies freed, success is guaranteed (nearly), with every stock I feed.

I've listened to tons of  financial gurus but Adam Khoo's investing n trading methods suits me the most. For someone who has lost big in the market in the past from trading CFDs, risk management is the most important to me now. 留得青山在,不怕没柴烧.

  • Warren Buffett, the legendary investor, has inspired countless people with his wisdom. Here’s a succinct reflection on how he motivates me:

“Warren Buffett’s timeless advice reminds me that investing isn’t about quick gains; it’s about patience, long-term vision, and understanding the businesses you invest in. His words echo: ‘The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.’”

    !Warren Buffett Quote

Remember, even a stock noob can learn valuable lessons from the Oracle of Omaha! 🌟

read some books, watch some YouTube, attend some courses... after a while you will learn the fundamentals of investing and trading. don't need a particular guru.

*Which investment gurus influence your strategies?*

Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger. their strategies include:

    1. *Value Investing*: Buy undervalued assets at a discount to their intrinsic worth.
    2. *Long-Term Focus*: Prioritize sustainable growth and durable competitive advantages.
    3. *Quality Over Quantity*: Invest in strong businesses with talented management.
    4. *Margin of Safety*: Buy at prices significantly below intrinsic value to minimize risk.
    5. *Integrity & Ethics*: Prioritize ethical behavior and rational decision-making.

I prefer value investment, and find the books from the renowed Malaysian investor guru 冷眼 very enlightening. Besides value investment, technical analysis is important too, and I think the VCP method by Mark Minervini works well.

When I buy a stock, I'm investing in a business. It will be a long term investment if I had bought correctly. Before buying, I need to ensure that I am not overpaying. I understand I won't be making lots of money very quickly. Some people can make a killing but that is not something that I can do consistently.

I read a lot of articles and also research into how some key opinion leaders make trades and share their investment strategies and portfolios. With proven techniques and results, its much easier to get a grip of what stocks to look into and be aware of🤔👌🏾

My investment guru is a random scammer. They would provide 100% sure gain advice. Their stock will go up regardless of dow jones, hsi or middle east. But after gaining your trust, they will slaughter the pig...the most recent one is 1718.hk

I am a very long term investment. I had bought this share $ResMed(RMD)$ since 2008 till now. However, I have seld and bought along the years. If I have hold on all the shares that I had bought since 2008. I could easily earn more than 1million now. Therefore, my thought is like Warren Buffet, hold on to the shares if you like the company business model. You think the company have a great potential of growthing in the market, you should hold on for long term. Even the share price drop, you should not panic and sell. If you should trust the company business mode, you should even buy some more shares when the share price drop. It will be able to give you the return x2/×3/×4/×5.....×10. Give me a like to support me. @AyKing @Little Ray @黄金手 @LMSunshine @Andrea1986 @sillycelery @奔向一个小目标

I don't strictly adhere to the stock investment strategies of investment gurus. While I appreciate their insights,  I prefer to exercise my own judgement. With limited knowledge of the stocks they invest in, I find it more prudent to conduct my own research and make independent investment decisions.

Ideal investment philosophy would be be caution of what you do,
don't follow what Mr Market is trending, it might be "too good to be true",
always do your due diligence before commiting,
understand the team behind the screen,
long term view is viable than short term gain,
and finally never invest with your cash that needs immediate attention.
