Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is indeed one of the highest-paid CEOs in the world. His compensation package has been a subject of scrutiny and investor voting. It is important to note that CEO compensation is typically determined by the company's board of directors and is subject to shareholder approval.
The rationale behind Elon Musk's compensation package at Tesla is to incentivize and reward his long-term performance and achievements.
