$BA said Tuesday it will raise almost $21 billion from the capital raise announced Monday through public offerings of common stock and depositary shares, more than the roughly $19 billion initially mooted.
The troubled aerospace company upsized the deal to 112.5 million shares of common stock, up from 90 million announced Monday, and $5 billion of depositary shares, each representing one-twentieth of a share in newly issued convertible preferred stock.
The stock offering priced at $143 a share to raise $15.81 billion and the depositary stock offering raised $4.9 billion.
