Miserable Returns, Big Ego: The Rise of Clickbait Finance Experts

I don’t know what there is to show off about such a miserable return. Feels more like trying to attract followers with ad clickbait for subscribers or other financial gain. You weren’t even there, yet you act like an expert teaching people what to do.

Many times is a scam and not the real kelvin learns investing. In his telegram group chat also many people reported to him about others using his persona to promote stuff

That $2 might just be an entry ticket to watch a clown perform. Maybe some people are too lazy to read financial reports themselves, so they’d rather pay someone to summarize everything for them.

Recently, I’ve noticed a few suspicious accounts in the Tiger community that look like scammers. The user promoting a Telegram group, and shills acting excited looks like red flag to me

It appears that the analysis is being driven by scammers acting in coordination, with a group reinforcing each other to create a false sense of credibility in order to mislead inexperienced investors.

Nowadays, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish what’s real and what’s fake because of AI.

Anything can happen. AI is replacing jobs, more people are becoming citizens, and the pie is shrinking with increasing competition from new locals. One day, I might no longer be needed. [Cry]

@Ah_Meng She’s on a completely different level, a well-respected figure on Tiger Brokers, while I’m just a small fly in comparison.

When I write, I start thinking more deeply and it helps improve my investment decisions. Posting it also serves as a log for myself, so I can refer back to it since there’s too much good information to track manually.Interestingly, when there are fewer viewers, it often seems like the SP goes up.

You maybe young and new to 🐯, but you are ramping up quickly. A lot of the older generations in 🐯 has actually stopped writing or dropped out altogether. They were good in their own rights. I used to produce a lot too but have also cut down when the others stop contributing much.
