The Hang Seng Tech index $HSI(HSI)$ tumbled 8.1% to 3472.42.
Mainland Chinese stocks closed lower, with the Shanghai composite down 4.95% to 3063.97 while the Shenzhen component shed 4.36% to 111537.24.

Hurray! Investors are celebrating the 360 degree turn on the Chinese markets since the last 2 days when the Chinese authorities said that they will take measures to keep financial markets stable. Where there was Fear, now it is Optimism and much Joy!
