$Pfizer(PFE)$ is an American multinational pharmaceutical & biotechnology corporation :
- Established in 1849
- Developer and Manufacturer of medicine & vaccines for immunology, oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, and neurology.
- While a lot of its products are heavily rotated in the medical world; my first recognition of Pfizer was because of their "Little blue pill" invention aka Viagra - whahahahaha
- Of course who could forget, in times of worldwide dire need, Pfizer (partnered with BioNTech) came through to fast-track the Covid 19 vaccine.
Facts & Figures:
- Its a Mega Cap company.
- Very stable, not at all volatile; Beta coefficient is only 0.65.
- Decent dividend at $1.64 per share.
- Healthy trading volume.
- Healthy Revenue and Net Income. Net Income higher than $UnitedHealth(UNH)$
- Stock price is -10% lower than 03 Jan 2022. "Stable", considering how much other stocks have fallen eg.$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ fallen by -62% YTD.
- Not a penny stock obviously. See if it will test its 52-weeks lower limits any time soon.
- Explore fractional purchase of PFE maybe ? Hmmm....
YTD Quarterly Earnings: to wrap up
With so much upsides to Pfizer - are you tempted ?
Would you consider morphing your portfolio to include "defensive" stocks in an "unsure" market in 2023 ?
