I shall share something less conventional, which is green pea cookies from Mdm Ling! the crunch peas with tinge of smokiness that simply melts in your mouth. For those who are not fans of green peas, fret not! The taste of green peas is well balanced and not overpowering. Certainly a must try! [Grin]

Besides sounding auspicious (旺来)that's literally translates to "Prosperous cometh", it is especially special because my elder sister made it "with lots of love" for our enjoyment.
Many new year goodies can be bought nowadays.
But savouring something made with love (besides tasting delicious), warms the heart with each bite.
