Chinese Stocks Rally: Which Funds are Adding Positions in Chinese Stocks?

China announced last week that it is shortening quarantine requirements while simplifying travel rules and adjusting its monitoring system. Investors cheered the latest announcement.

The $HSI(HSI)$ jumped 7.74% on Friday after the news came out. Chinese stocks are well placed to gain from the easing of social distancing and travel curbs. Last week's changes to the Covid restrictions mean reopening trades are "finally going to take off."

Short term bullish on China stocks. This is because of the cuts in isolation required plus the recent Xi-Biden meet up. Things look good, however fundamentally opening up China, Taiwan issues, Competition and other matters are still unresolved so i will still observe conservatively. If theres any investments, it’ll only constitute a small portion of the portfolio. What about you?

If we are simply looking at valuations. HSI as a whole is 2 standard deviation below average. It is extremely cheap as compare to other exchanges. I won't be surprised if HSI become the 'most bullish index' in percentage gain in 2023. After all, market moves in cycle so there's no such thing as 'china stocks are uninvestable' as proclaimed by the western media who take on a bias view in my opinion. Again whether to invest also sit with individual risk appetite so always do due diligence before you part your money.

Definitely bullish on Chinese stocks. The country has loosen the quarantine period for travellers. Chinese stocks will do very well again when the Zero Covid policy is lifted. Furthermore, at the U.S.-China meet, both have committed to improve communication and avoid a Cold War. $Alibaba(BABA)$ is best.👍🏻 $Xiaomi$ still cheap, a lot of space to grow.

With the easing of covid rules, it's time to expect more opening. Restriction has been far too long n overstretch that it's hurting the citizens life n economy. Normal life needs to be restored ASAP. I would expect more opening in time to come. Mkt is overbought, wait for opportunity
