Points to look at Sec insider trading reports

Insider trading reports are commonly found, but it can be tough to evaluate them  Significant transactions: Large-scale insider transactions, particularly when multiple insiders are involved, may signal a strong belief in the company's prospects or concerns about its future performance. Consistent patterns: A series of consistent insider transactions (e.g., multiple insiders buying shares over an extended period) might indicate a trend that is worth considering. Context: When insider transactions align with other positive or negative indicators, such as earnings reports, industry trends, or analyst opinions, they may provide additional confirmation for an investment thesis.

Some differences in trading strategy between blue chip and penny stocks

Here are some of the main differences in strategy for blue-chip stocks and penny stocks: Research and stock selection: Blue-chip stocks: Focus on well-established, financially stable companies with strong market positions, consistent earnings, and a history of dividend payments. The evaluation is often based on long-term growth prospects, competitive advantages, and management quality. Penny stocks: Focus on identifying undervalued, high-risk companies with potential for substantial growth. These stocks may lack a track record or have a less established market position, requiring a more speculative and cautious approach to research and selection. Diversification and position sizing: Blue-chip stocks: Given their lower risk profile, blue-chip stocks can make up a larger portion of a diversi

      U Power going to 100 USD ?

I sometimes follow the trend to make money, but my main investments are built over time where I invest small amount on a regular basis. But sometimes you get tempted by the chance to make money quick. I invested in U Power to make quick buck. Rather disastrous so far, but I believe the possibilities of gains outweighs the risk. China-based U Power Ltd $U Power(UCAR)$  was founded in Shanghai in 2013. They have also set up a small branch in Sunnyvale California. They are trying to break into the EV market as a one stop solution with great visions, but a need for more cash to take the ideas to the next level. Therefore they did an IPO on the US stockmarket. They are best known for setting up battery swap station solutions. Instead of charging y

🌟🌟🌟Chase Hot Trend vs Making Solid Investment🌟🌟🌟

🌈🌈🌈While chasing hot trend seems exciting, but it is a high risk /high reward kind of investing!    The thing is we never know when the hot trend will dissipate and becomes passe.  It is a FOMO mentality but market sentiments are unpredictable and we maybe left with staggering losses. A good example would be Meme stocks like $GameStop(GME)$  or $Bed Bath & Beyond(BBBY)$  .  To me it is like going to the casino - too risky and perhaps lots of sleepless nights.  I would definitely prefer making a solid investment by buying quality stocks that tick all the core fundamentals of profitability, rock solid balance sheet, preferably with a wide moat and excellent ma

Trend Following vs Value Investing - Which is better?

There are multiple approaches to stock investing and when utilised correctly (which takes great experience and knowledge), they can be profitable in the hands of an adept investor/trader. Some may ask, is trend following or value investing more profitable? Let's first deep dive into the differences. Trend following Trend following involves buying stocks that are currently hot trending in the market. This requires investors to identify stocks that are experiencing an upward price trend and place positions with the expectation that the trend will continue.  The objective is to ride on the momentum and take advantage of short-term price movements. This approach is widely popular among traders and investors who prefer a more active and dynamic investment style. One example that

      Let's Recap what is ETF

$STI ETF(ES3.SI)$  An ETF is an investment fund that attempts to follow the performance of a specific grouping of securities, represented by an index.  It does this by purchasing shares of the securities in the index, in the same proportion. For example, say DBS makes up 20% of Index A. An ETF that tracks Index A would allocate 20% of its funds into DBS shares.  When you invest in an ETF, you own a stake of the fund, not the underlying securities. As ETFs pool together money from many investors, investing in an ETF is a way to purchase the securities you want (and reap the potential benefits) at a lower capital cost.  ETFs also offer diversification, high liquidity and variety. With the hottrends, we never know when will it go away and when it does go away, one would have lost a huge sum of their money because of greed and emotion caused my the temptation of promising huge profits within a short span of time.

Why am I Sell Put to buy AXP?

$American Express(AXP)$ initially fell 6% after its April 20th earnings report, but managed to pull back and only ended up dropping 1.01% despite the overall poor market performance. This is worth noting for investors as American Express has always been an important holding of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), consistently ranking in the top five over the past few quarters. While Buffett reduced his holdings in several bank stocks during Q3-Q4 of 2022, even completely selling off some, he maintained a heavy position in AXP. This indicates that when it comes to financial sectors, the Oracle of Omaha is far more optimistic about consumer finance than banking.Q1 performance reviewRevenue was $14.28 billion with a YoY increase of 21.6%, surp
