I closed 1 lot(s) $AMD 20240322 172.5 PUT$ ,AMD seems to have a good support at the 172 level along with the 50EMA. This CSP open 1.5 weeks ago has just expired worthless thus keeping the full premium that was collected. Within this pass this 1.5 week, I have too gone in and out 2 other swing trades closing in a day or 2, pocketing extra premiums along the way. AMD has got decent IV thus makes selling options to be lucrative but of course if one don’t get the direction correctly, one would suffer a bigger loss then usual too.

I closed $GNRC 20240322 107.0 PUT$ ,GNRC: collected full premium of 2.2% over 31 days when held this contract till expiry. The stock had corrected lower after its earning on 14th Feb and didn’t really move much after that. For now, I view GNRC with slight bearish near term as it had tried and failed to break its 200 days MA and still closed below that on 22nd Mar.

I closed $EL 20240322 157.5 CALL$ ,EL: collected full premium of 1.15% over a period of 30 days for this covered call. EL only had 1 day on 13th Mar that went above the strike price of $157.5 and didn’t manage to sustain and fall back for most of the week. It also coincides with the rejection at 200 days MA so I viewed this as still bearish for short to mid term until it can break above those key moving averages.

No bearish divergence has shown up on the chart as of yet, which suggests the general trend is still to the upside. It has entered a bear market with > 20% drawdown in the span of 2 weeks, albeit slightly under its support trendline. Today went to NEX at Serangoon to do some errands like duplicating the keys at 4th floor- Shoes & Keys at 4th floor. $4 per key not too bad! Bought some breads and saw the Japanese food fair at 1st level. Bought some pan cakes and nice strawberries.
