1. $Spotify Technology S.A.(SPOT)$ +11.41%: turn from loss to profit yoy
Revenue reached €3.6 billion, up 20%.
Adjusted operating profit: €168 million.
Number of premium subscribers: 239 million, up 14% year-over-year.
2. $GE Aerospace(GE)$ +8.28%: beat estimates and announced significant dividend
Q1 revenue: $16.1 billion, up 11% year-over-year, beating by $400 million.
Non-GAAP EPS: $0.82, beating by 17.14%.
The company also announced plans to pay a significant dividend for the first time since 2018.
3. $Texas Instruments(TXN)$ +9.04%: beat estimates and raised revenue forecasts
Q1 revenue: $3.66 billion, down 16.4% year-over-year, with the market expecting $3.61 billion.
Net profit: $1.11 billion, down 35% year-over-year, beating by 12.92%.
Texas Instruments announced optimistic revenue forecasts for the quarter, suggesting that the downturn demand may ease.
4. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ +13.33%: missed but promised new car model
Profits of $1.1 billion, down 55% from the year-ago quarter
Revenues of $21.3 billion, down 9%.
Although the quarterly revenue missed analyst estimates, Tesla jumped over 15% in extended hours trading after announcing the launch of new electric vehicle models by 2025.
5. $Philip Morris(PM)$ +3.83%: beat both EPS and revenue a little bit
Revenue: $8.79 billion, higher than the market's expected $8.47 billion
Adjusted EPS: $1.50, beating by 6.38%.
In the first quarter, the company's smoke-free alternative products accounted for 39% of its total revenue.
6. $Visa(V)$ +2.87%: beat and expressed positive sentiment
Revenue: $8.8 billion, beating by 2.09%.
Adjusted EPS of $2.51, surpassing the estimates by 2.87%.
Visa executives stated on a conference call that international travel continues to be robust
