πππTis the month of December and children are not the only ones looking forward to Christmas. We are all looking forward to a Santa Rally that will finish 2024 on a high note.
The US has led a record run in November buoyed by recent outperformance and historical trends. This has been an amazing year for me with many of my ETFs and key stocks up, some at all time highs.
One of my best performing ETFs is $SPDR Portfolio S&P 1500 Composite Stock Market ETF(SPTM)$ which recently reached its all time high at USD 73.87 in November. I am currently up 40% on SPTM.
SPTM represents 1500 of the largest US stocks and is part of the core exposure ETFs that track the S&P indexes. SPTM comprises of Large Cap, Mid Cap and Small Cap stocks, giving exposure to the entire spectrum of investable US Equities.
The Top 10 holdings include the Magnificent 7 stocks followed by Berkshire Hathaway, Broadcom and JPMorgan.
The Top 10 weightage is 31%. The expense ratio is a low 0.03%. Dividends are paid every 6 months. The current dividend yield is 1.22%.
SPTM goes ex dividend on December 23, just in time for Christmas.
I believe in the magic of Christmas and with Santa's help of granting wishes, we will celebrate this Christmas with an abundance of joy leading to a great start to 2025.
