$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$

I continue to dollar-cost average into Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL) because I view the semiconductor cycle as being in a powerful structural uptrend rather than a short-term trade. While volatility has increased alongside shifting macro expectations, the long-term demand drivers—AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and data center expansion—remain firmly intact. Companies like NVIDIA and Advanced Micro Devices continue to push the frontier of compute, reinforcing the idea that we are still early in a multi-year buildout.

Another key reason I stick to DCA is the inherently volatile nature of a leveraged ETF like SOXL. Timing entries perfectly in a 3x product is extremely difficult, especially when sentiment can swing rapidly on macro data or rate expectations. By averaging in over time, I reduce the emotional pressure of trying to catch exact bottoms and instead focus on accumulating exposure across different points in the cycle. This approach aligns with my broader strategy of staying disciplined rather than reactive.

I also believe the semiconductor industry is transitioning from a cyclical story into a structural one. Beyond traditional PC and smartphone demand, we now have AI training clusters, autonomous systems, and edge computing creating persistent demand for advanced chips. Foundry leaders like Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and memory players such as Samsung Electronics are investing aggressively to meet this demand, which further supports the long-term thesis behind maintaining exposure through SOXL.

At the same time, I'm fully aware of the risks. Leveraged ETFs amplify both gains and losses, and daily rebalancing can lead to decay during sideways markets. That's precisely why DCA becomes even more important—it smooths out entry points and helps manage the impact of volatility drag over time. Rather than making large, concentrated bets, I prefer to build my position gradually while staying mindful of position sizing.

Ultimately, my decision to continue DCA into SOXL comes down to conviction in the semiconductor supercycle combined with a disciplined execution strategy. I'm not chasing short-term momentum, but positioning for what I believe is a long-duration trend driven by AI and compute demand. As long as that thesis remains intact, I'm comfortable continuing to accumulate—even through periods of uncertainty.

As a retail investor, I focus mainly on the US and Singapore markets, combining a mix of technical trading and long-term investing strategies. I enjoy analyzing charts, spotting patterns, and making calculated moves based on both market sentiment and fundamentals. While I'm not a professional, I treat my portfolio seriously and continue to learn and grow with each trade.
