CRCL Has 7 Trading Days Until Earnings. Here Is My Roadmap to Nov 4.
Circle closed at $85.91, but the headline number hides something interesting.
CRCL has spent most of October absorbing repeated selling without losing the $80 area.
It fell from nearly $100.
It briefly flushed to $75.27.
It recovered.
And now it is compressing around $85-$87 with RSI almost perfectly neutral.
That does not look like a stock investors have abandoned.
It looks like a stock waiting for its next catalyst.
And there are only seven trading sessions before Circle reports Q3 earnings on Nov 4.
My base case?
CRCL tests $90-$92 next week, then makes an attempt at $95-$100 immediately before earnings.
But there are two very different forces that will decide whether that happens.
WEEK 1: OCT 26-30
The macro trade comes first.
CRCL is unusual because interest rates affect it in opposite directions.
Higher rates mean more interest income on the reserves backing USDC.
But higher yields also hurt crypto liquidity and compress CRCL's valuation.
Lower rates do the reverse.
They help BTC and risk appetite, but eventually reduce Circle's reserve yield.
So Circle's ideal environment is not necessarily aggressive rate cuts.
It is:
Gradually easier financial conditions + expanding USDC circulation.
That allows stablecoin growth to offset declining reserve yields.
This is why next week's macro environment matters.
If BTC strengthens and yields remain controlled, I expect traders to begin positioning for Circle's earnings.
My Oct 26-30 map:
🟡 55% BASE: $86-$92
CRCL continues building above $83-$85 and tests the upper boundary.
🟢 25% BULL: $92-$97
BTC strengthens, risk appetite improves and CRCL finally clears resistance.
🔴 20% BEAR: $79-$84
Macro risk-off returns and $83 fails.
The number that changes the chart?
$92.
CRCL has spent October repeatedly failing to sustain momentum above the high-$80s.
A convincing break of $92 would tell me this is no longer merely consolidation.
It becomes an earnings momentum trade.
WEEK 2: NOV 2-3
This is where I expect the trade to change.
The question stops being:
“Is crypto going up?”
And becomes:
“What will Circle actually report?”
There are four things I think the market will front-run.
1. USDC CIRCULATION
This is my No. 1 metric.
Circle ultimately needs:
More USDC → larger reserve base → more ecosystem activity → more monetisation.
If USDC circulation is accelerating into the quarter, investors have a reason to bid CRCL before Nov 4.
2. RESERVE INCOME
This is the tension inside the Circle story.
The market already understands that falling rates can pressure reserve yield.
The question is whether USDC growth can outrun that yield compression.
That is far more important than whether EPS beats consensus by a few cents.
3. ARC + PAYMENTS
This may eventually determine CRCL's valuation.
If Circle remains primarily:
USDC × interest rates
then CRCL deserves a more cyclical multiple.
If Circle becomes:
USDC + payments + Arc + financial infrastructure
then investors can begin valuing it as a network.
That is a completely different business.
4. GUIDANCE
This is probably what determines whether an earnings beat gets sold.
The market wants evidence that Circle can grow beyond reserve income while stablecoins move further into mainstream finance.
🔵 THE CATALYST MOST INVESTORS MAY BE UNDERESTIMATING
I think the market is still treating Circle primarily as a crypto proxy.
That may become increasingly wrong.
Stablecoins are gradually becoming payment and settlement infrastructure.
If USDC continues gaining institutional adoption, Circle's opportunity becomes less dependent on BTC itself.
That is the rerating thesis.
But it also creates the biggest risk.
Competition is increasing.
The stablecoin winner may not simply be whoever issues the most coins.
The winner may be whoever builds the strongest distribution + payments + developer + settlement ecosystem around them.
That is why Arc and Circle's payment infrastructure matter so much.
🚦 MY CRCL LEVELS INTO NOV 4
Current: $85.91
🟢 $83-$85: SUPPORT
Healthy while held.
🟢 $79-$81: MAJOR SUPPORT
This is the line I do not want to see lost sustainably.
🔴 Below $75: THESIS CHECK
Now the upside:
🟡 $88-$90: FIRST GATE
CRCL needs to stop getting rejected here.
🟢 $92: BREAKOUT CONFIRMATION
This is my most important number next week.
🟢 $96-$100: PRE-EARNINGS TARGET
The October high near $100 becomes the obvious magnet.
🟢 Above $100: MOMENTUM EXPANSION
Then $105-$110 becomes possible even before the earnings reaction if crypto and macro align.
🔮 MY DAY-BY-DAY ROADMAP
MON-TUE
$84-$89
More consolidation. I expect $88-$90 to attract sellers initially.
WED-THU
$86-$92
Macro becomes the catalyst.
A strong BTC/risk-on response could finally push CRCL through $90.
FRI
$88-$94 base case
A weekly close above $92 would be particularly constructive.
Then comes earnings week.
MON NOV 2
$89-$95
Positioning begins.
TUE NOV 3
$90-$97 base case
If momentum becomes aggressive:
$98-$102.
That would be my bull-case pre-earnings setup.
WHAT WOULD MAKE ME WRONG?
Three things.
🔴 BTC breaks materially lower.
CRCL still trades partly as a crypto-beta stock.
🔴 $79-$80 fails.
That would invalidate the October base.
🔴 Evidence emerges that USDC growth is slowing materially.
That matters far more to me than a red Nasdaq session.
MY PRE-EARNINGS PROBABILITY MAP
By Nov 3:
🟡 50%: $88-$95
Orderly earnings run-up.
🟢 30%: $95-$102
$92 breaks, BTC cooperates and momentum traders arrive.
🔴 20%: $78-$85
Macro deterioration overwhelms the earnings setup.
So my central expectation is not a straight-line rally.
I expect:
$85 → resistance near $90 → $92 breakout attempt → $95-$100 earnings magnet.
MY CALL
CRCL is becoming interesting precisely because it is not overbought before earnings.
RSI is neutral.
$80 has repeatedly attracted buyers.
$100 has repeatedly attracted sellers.
And price is sitting almost exactly between them.
That creates a very clean setup.
The market has seven sessions to decide which side wins.
For me, three numbers tell the entire story:
$80 → the floor
$92 → the trigger
$100 → the breakout
Above $92, I become bullish on a pre-earnings run.
Above $100, the character of the trade changes.
Below $80, I stop predicting the breakout and start questioning the base.
And on Nov 4, I will care less about whether Circle “beats EPS” than whether management proves this transformation:
USDC issuer → stablecoin network → global financial infrastructure.
If Circle can demonstrate that transition, $100 may eventually look less like resistance and more like the beginning of CRCL's next valuation debate.
I am not a financial advisor. Trade wisely, Comrades!
Before Nov 4: $100 first, or $80 retest first?
