Tutorial two: The critical elements related to an option contract
In this part, you will have a deep understanding of the critical elements of an option contract, such as underlying assets, expiration date, strike price, premium, and contract size.
Tutorial three: Determinants of an option's price
An option's premium is comprised of intrinsic value and extrinsic value. Intrinsic value is reflective of the actual value of the strike price versus the current market price. Extrinsic value is more complex, comprising of time until expiration, implied volatility, dividends, and interest rate risks. In this part, you will know more details about all the determinants.
If the above knowledge tends to be more theoretical, then the rest of the tutorials would be more helpful when you start investing and taking the theory into practice. So, you will get a rough idea of how to get started. The steps of finding the right option and the strategies of options investing.
Based on the study, now you can test how much you have acquired. There are 5 quizzes in total. Participants who score 60 or above (60/100, with each correct answer worth 10 marks) in each quiz will receive 50 Tiger coins. After completing all 5 quizzes with a score of 60 or above in each, participants will be rewarded with a prize worth USD 10. I hope the tutorial is available anytime, so that I can refer it in the future because I still don't quite get the lessons, economic matters are quite tough to grasp for me [Pitiful]
