🌈🌈🌈$Endeavour Group Ltd(EDV.AU)$  is Australia's largest alcoholic drinks retailer with more than 1600 retail outlets across its Dan Murphy's and BWS brands which account s for 50% of all retail liquor sales within Australia.  Endeavour also owns ALH Hotels which operates 342 hotels and clubs with 12400 poker machines inside them.  This makes it the largest owner of poker machines in Australia and the 3rd largest gaming operator  after Crown Resorts and The Star.

This gives Endeavour a wide moat over its competitors.  Indeed Endeavour's sales are almost 3 times larger than its nearest competitor, Coles.

Endeavour has just announced its earnings results for the Financial Year 2023 Half Year with its Net Profit up 15.6% to AUD 311 million with strong profit margins in its retail liquor arm.

According to CEO, Steve Donohue, customers are tending to buy more expensive products across beer, wine and spirits as this premiumisation trend gathers pace.

Endeavour's share price is down 4% over the last 5 days but up 7.6% year to date.     According to the broker Morgans, Endeavour is  Buy with Target price of AUD 7.80, a potential upside of more than 12%.
