[TOPIC] Fed's Meeting(2 Nov): 50 or 75 bps?
The Fed is widely expected to raise its benchmark overnight interest rate by 75 basis points at its November meeting (2 Nov.), with the probability reaching 95% as of 25 Oct.
What do you think the Fed will raise rates eventually?

If the 75 bps rate hike comes true, then it would be the fourth raise of that size this year. After months of aggressive rate hikes to combat inflation, however, there are signs the Fed may be preparing to slow things down in December. In a speech on 23 Oct, Federal Reserve governor Christopher Waller said that the Board of Governors will have “a very thoughtful discussion about the pace of tightening at our next meeting.”
