If I were Sam Altman, the choice between returning to OpenAI or joining Microsoft would be a reflection of my aspirations and convictions. Microsoft's potential to surpass Apple in market capitalization adds another layer of complexity to the decision-making process. As I wear the hypothetical shoes of Sam Altman, weighing the impact of such a move becomes a deeply personal consideration. The current market scenario invites both excitement and caution. Whether to bet on big tech, predict the duration of the rebound, or anticipate specific companies reaching new highs is a decision that hinges on personal risk tolerance and strategic foresight. As I navigate this intricate landscape, the only certainty is the need for a thoughtful and well-informed approach to capitalize on the opportunitie

However, OpenAI's decision to fire the face of the company and its co-founder could have been the result of a ‘palace coup.’ The reason behind Altman's ouster could also be something that Elon Musk has long been complaining about. Greg Brockman and Sam Altman are both prominent figures in the technology industry. They have collaborated on several projects, including the founding of OpenAI, a non-profit research company with the stated goal of ensuring that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. Brockman is OpenAI's co-founder and president, while Altman is the chairman of the board. They have a long history of working together, dating back to their time at Y Combinator, a startup accelerator that Altman co-founded. Both Brockman and Altman are passionate about the potential of artificial intelligence to benefit society. From what I have read, it seems like Brockman was a controversial figure within OpenAI. Some people believe that he was a visionary leader who helped to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence, while others believe that he was a reckless and irresponsible leader who made decisions that put the company at risk. Here are some possible impacts: • Public perception: The public may view Brockman's departure as a sign of instability at OpenAI. This could make it more difficult for the company to attract talent and funding. • Microsoft's investment: Microsoft has invested heavily in OpenAI. Brockman's departure could make Microsoft less confident in the company's future. This could lead to a decrease in funding or even a complete withdrawal of support. • Delays in

MSFT has basically acquired OpenAI by proxy

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ ImageAccept it bears. Sam Altman is NOT going back to OpenAI regardless of what the remaining employees bargain for. I am quite sure that Satya covered his bases when he hired both Altman and Brockman. The lawyers at MSFT were also consulted and everything you can imagine was covered in an Employment Agreement. MSFT would not make a "sloppy" talent acquisition of this magnitude.Altman and Brockman will remain with MSFT. The remaining employees at OpenAI will be jumping ship for the next month and that company will become a shell of what it was. The Board of Directors will likely be sued. MSFT has basically acquired OpenAI by proxy..........brilliant.Till now OpenAI was capped to profit. Now all of OpenAI

      MSFT: What Happen Now?

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Food for thought: Sam Altman, if he comes back to OpenAi, has plans to take some of his senior researchers to 2 of his new ventures. The questions all should be thinking is: 1) Is this good for Openai?, 2) would Openai be as competitive as before? It’s won’t be easy to find experts in this field, 3) if he doesn’t come back and takes numerous employees who are willing to quit Openai, what will happen to Openai? And I want to say that Sam got fired because he lied about making a profit, AI is just an elaborate scam.AI helps to solve software bugs a little in scanning support documents to find a root cause and solution but this is no holy grail. Its a glorified search tool that can do a summary for you, nobod

      Keep on MSFT!

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Well msft has 10 billion dollars invested in Open AI. Open AI could become a carcass . What may need to be weighed is the loss of almost the entirety of 10 billion dollars vs how much is gained by having Altman and his sidekick along with a possible 500 more employees from AI . I'm not sure how to measure that. Still think there will be damages paid. On the other hand this could be a mirage where the AI Board resigns and Altman returns and msft retreats back before this all started.MSFT profit margin 35.3%; oper margin 47.6%; return on equity 39%; quarterly earning growth rate 27%. All financial parameters are excellent. Out-performed other stocks, the best among 7 Magnificent

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Sequoia Capital, Tiger Global, Thrive, and MSFT own a large % of OpenAI. MSFT, does not want to purchase them outright. It’s more efficient for them to support the company with the goal of eventually securing an IPO in the future based on value. The other VC’s also would rather see their investment grow over time. So rumors of MSFT buying out openAI are absurd. The goal immediately is to right this ship, and get them to the finish line of an eventual IPO so everyone benefits. No takeover![Miser][Miser][Miser]

      MSFT: A Terrible Move!

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ A board abruptly firing the CEO of a company without notifying its largest stakeholder must be brain dead. This action has also threatened the financial well-being of msft shareholders and could lead to the emergence of competition headed by Altman, which would be disastrous for all sides. The board of any corporation, regardless of its views, has a fiduciary responsibility to the stakeholders; it can’t just fire a CEO without proper consultation and notification and expect no consequences in return. A horrible move.
