At what price will you buy $Apple(AAPL)$ ? Growing up I always feel that Apple's marketing can always find a way into people's heart. From the iMac, iPod, iPhone, to the current Apple vision pro. It's not about the ecosystem or design of their products, but a combination of a few points: 1. TIMING It is very much about how we feel when we use Apple products. The way Apple time their product launches are ever so impeccable to the extent that there should be a research paper about this. The timing they launch and the way they launch always seems to make them the 'first mover', though we know that's not the case most of the time. Case in point, launching the Apple vision now is a much better timing comp

Is The Stock Market Going To Plunge Further?

Thanks to Tiger for awarding the weekly top predictions for SPY last week. The S&P 500 Index was down 0.2% on Friday, on track to close its second straight week of losses. The surprise in the PPI reading has awakened marginal upticks in market expectations for Fed rate hikes, even though traders remain largely convinced (with an 89% probability) that the Fed will opt to leave rates on hold in September. Te 2-year yield moved up 5 basis points to 4.9%, impacting rate-sensitive assets. U.S. equities were unable to break free from the bears’ grip, with tech continuing to underperform the rest of the market. The release of higher-than-expected producer inflation numbers in July, which climbed from 0.2% to 0.8% year-on-year, above estimates of 0.7%, dominated headlines Friday. Producer inf

After the bell, Apple $Apple(AAPL)$ released its third-quarter results for fiscal 2023 (the second quarter of 2023), with revenue and net profit beating analysts' expectations:Despite the bright results, Apple's shares fell as much as 3% in after-hours:A detailed study of the reasons may be related to the lower-than-expected revenue of iPhone and iPad. Of course, the most important thing is that Apple has risen as high as 47% during the year when its fundamentals have not improved. As the saying goes, It is too high to touch! it is easy for investors to pick bones in the eggs if they are slightly lower than expected.Specifically, Apple's revenue in the third quarter of fiscal 2023 was $81.8 billion, down 1.4% from a year earlier and slightly highe

$Walt Disney(DIS)$ released its Q3 earnings, showing a rebound in overall revenue, although it remains below expectations. The subscription count for its streaming service has once again declined, while the year-over-year losses have continued, albeit with a slight reduction in the extent of the losses. Simultaneously, the offline theme parks have experienced a significant year-on-year increase, benefiting from the recovery in the Chinese market and poised to set a historical high. However, the company's stock experienced fluctuations after trading hours, primarily due to news of a price increase for its streaming service. Q3 Earnings Overviews-Revenue reached $22.33 billion, marking a 4% year-on-year growth, which falls short of the market's expect

All eyes on the pivotal data, July CPI

July CPI data, which will be released on Thursday, August 10th, could be a significant turning point. As seen last month, the first six months of CPI saw a rapid decline due to high base effects from the previous year. June's data was the most easily predictable in the current cycle, leading to increasing optimism in the stock market, such as $S&P 500(.SPX)$ However, July's CPI is likely to mark the end of the expected continued decline in inflation, at least from 3% to 2%, which will take a long time to achieve. The current market consensus is that July's CPI will increase by 3.3% year-on-year and 0.3% month-on-month, higher than June's 3% year-on-year and 0.2% month-on-month. Core CPI is expected to increase by 4.8% year-on-year and 0.2% mont
