Overview Oil prices surged over 1% on Thursday as traders reacted to the disruptions caused by Hurricane Francine in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Brent crude rose by $1.01 to reach $71.62 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude increased by $1 to $68.31. However, despite the supply concerns stemming from the hurricane, a dim demand outlook continues to weigh heavily on the market, capping the recent price gains. Hurricane Francine’s Impact on U.S. Oil Production Hurricane Francine's landfall in southern Louisiana has led to significant disruptions in U.S. offshore oil production. Nearly 39% of oil and almost half of natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico was offline as operators evacuated 171 production platforms and three rigs. This region accounts for about 15% of U.

I opened $Alphabet(GOOGL)$  ,The expectation of interest rate cut was 50BP, and now it has been reduced to 25BP. Therefore, when CPI has been falling for 5 consecutive months, the market will be relatively calm as the expectation and positive factors decrease. What is certain is that the market will gradually rise.

I opened $SKYWARD SPECIALTY INS GROUP INC(SKWD)$  ,SKWD: started small positions on this specialty insurer. Long term trending upwards with short term correction providing opportunity to accumulate. Earnings on 5th Aug were good and stock rallied in the days after. Past 2 days selling off providing a better entry level to hold.

I opened $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$  ,DCA position. PLTR has been a good one . So far no sign of a pull back . Waiting to sell puts or ratio spread on pullback .

I opened $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$  ,I made an additional investment in Nvidia due to its attractive valuation, trading at a forward P/E of 38x, below its 10-year median. With strong growth potential and a PEG ratio of 0.9, Nvidia offers a compelling opportunity amidst recent market corrections.

I opened $Amazon.com(AMZN)$  ,I increased my investment in Amazon (AMZN) due to its robust 11% sales growth and a remarkable 91% surge in operating income for Q2 2024. Despite a recent pullback, Amazon's strong performance in AWS and international markets, alongside CEO Andy Jassy's efficiency focus, highlights significant future growth potential.

I opened 21 lot(s) $TCH.HK 20241030 390.00 CALL$  ,Rebound as expected but CC pending order was entered unexpectedly at opening. Still a good premium sold IMO. Don't be greedy in this situation, take what the market gives you. Overall view is the same, short term long, long term stagnant/short.

I closed $ASTS 20250117 45.0 CALL$  ,Bought 2 lots and closed out my covered call position in this company. Still holding onto the shares, which probably might rise if the launch is successful later today or fall if there’s any delay.

I opened $AT&T Inc(T)$  ,AT&T is one of US's largest telecommunications companies with a market capitalisation of USD 153.8 billion. Its share price is up 3.8% in the past 5 days and 24% year todate. In 2023, AT&T has risen by 48%. What I like best about AT&T is the nice juicy dividends which are paid every 3 months. The current dividend yield is 5.17%. The next dividend is due in September. AT&T has a moat due to its extensive networks. Telecommunications is an essential service and I believe that AT&T has lots of exponential growth ahead. I just bought AT&T using the overnight trading feature on Tiger App. It is real easy and I do not have to stay up late to trade. How good is that!

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$  As in my previous post, my strategy on NVDA - to buy low on the dip and sell off as tge stock retraces upwards - paid off again last night. I entered at 108ish as NVDA was as strong as a bull, waited patiently for the rebound upwardsand sold off at 112ish for a handsome profit. Then agaim when it drops back to 111.30 put in more shares as the stock showed great strength on the CEO Jensen Huang's remark on the huge demand on its AI chips. True enough, it climbed up again and I unloaded at 114. For me, making daily profits by scalping trades work well with NVDA. Again, I used the same scalping mode on TSLA and made good profits, buyinh at 219ish and sold off at 222ish. Hope you all enjoyed yhe ride
