The uranium stocks have been unfairly sold off due to news coming from Kazakhstan state uranium company, when it raised its production guidance back in August. How things turn around in a month! Why MicroStrategy Not Coinbase When Bitcoin Build Its Rally
If we remember Bitcoin's all-time high is $73,738. 00 and was reached on 14 March 2024, are we going to see Bitcoin marching towards that level soon? If we looked at how Bitcoin have been moving recently, we can see that its downtrend is ending, as we have seen two similar occurrences before, so questions is are we looking at a new highs coming from Bitcoin? I think there are two crypto stocks we can look at if we wanted to take advantage of this trend. In this article, I would like to discuss and show the correlation with Bitcoin for these 2 crypto stocks, and how their technical analysis are stacking up. MicroStrategy Correlation To Bitcoin - Strong Positive Correlation Following MicroStrategy's investment in Bitcoin, the Pearson correlation coefficient rose to 0.92. The strong positive
Qualcomm's Pursuit of Intel: A Game-Changing Acquisition or a Costly Gamble?
The chip industry was abuzz on Friday after reports surfaced that Qualcomm ( $Qualcomm(QCOM)$ ) had approached Intel ( $Intel(INTC)$ ) with a potential acquisition offer, valuing the latter at roughly $90 billion. While the details of this proposal remain unclear, the market responded with mixed signals: Intel shares jumped 3%, while Qualcomm’s stock dipped 3%. Let's explore whether this acquisition could be a strategic win or a financial risk while assessing the potential impact on Intel’s stock price, which I still target at $25. The Strategic Rationale Behind Qualcomm’s Move Qualcomm’s interest in Intel, though surprising, is not completely out of left field. Qualcomm is predominantly seen as a mobile
Hi everyone! Here’s my first newsletter in a week, and it’s on a satellite designer: AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTS) ASTS peaked in early-2021 at 25.37, before it chopped in a 3-year long descending channel that cumulated in a breakout in May this year. Since then, ASTS has retested its 2021 ATHs from above, while RSI comes down from extreme overbought levels while the Stochastic oscillator comes back into extreme oversold levels. On the daily chart, ASTS appears to be consolidating in both an ascending triangle and a symmetrical triangle pattern. This obviously means one thing - that 25.37 will be key as to how ASTS moves in the short term. If ASTS loses 25.37, a retest of prior resistance at 21.72 comes into play. Conversely, if ASTS holds this level, then we’re likely to see a brea
Japan's BoJ Faces Inflation Risks, Echoing US 2022 Experience
What’s happening in Japan is a repeat of what happened in the US in 2022.The BoJ was too drunk and dependent on zero rates. It fueled asset bubbles domestically and internationally.Even when the policy was obviously inflationary and there was already a recent example with the US, BoJ just wouldn’t listen. Like all central bankers, they imagine they have the power to easily contain inflation. They don’t.Now they run the risk of setting off a major upheaval in the global financial markets if they hike too fast. Japan’s stock market is already starting to reflect the coming collapse of corporate earnings resulting from a strong yen and deteriorating prospects for its automakers vs China.Imagehttps://x.com/BrianTycangco/status/1837312817202167872
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ 's ONVO L60 proves one thing. That $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ was selling very simple EVs that were being marketed in a way that was pure genius. Despite having one of the most boring driver's cockpits of any 4-wheeled vehicle, Tesla was able to convince people to pay $45K to $60K for their Model 3s and Model Ys. People paid more for less! So, what did Nio do? It went and built the same kind of car. Same very boring, simple, no-frills, and minimalistic feel. Only they're selling it at half the price of a Tesla. Starting at just $21K, the #ONVO is giving everyday drivers a chance to own a similar vehicle but with the most advanced battery-swapping tech available. If these cars ever make it to US shor

Rate Cut Wave Fuels Gold ETF Surge: How Much Upside Is Left for This Safe-Haven Asset?
In the current economic climate, as investors adjust to shifts in monetary policy, gold ETFs are once again in the spotlight. Following the Federal Reserve's recent rate cut, gold prices surged to record highs. With further rate cuts expected by the end of 2024, gold is gaining strong support, as it typically performs well in low-interest environments.Fed Rate Cuts Spark InflowsAs investors anticipate a series of rate cuts from the Fed, gold ETFs have become prime targets for inflows. Over the past month, gold-related ETFs, particularly SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) and iShares Gold Trust (IAU), have seen significant investor interest. The Federal Reserve officially cut the fed funds rate, or short-term risk-free interest rate, by 50 basis points (0.5%) last week and the market initially reacted negatively before rallying on Thursday. I have explained why I don’t think rate cuts are all that important for long-term investors here, but the short-term move in the market was notable.Rate Cuts and the MarketFor context, the downside of rate cuts is they normally indicate a recession is coming. The chart below shows the 2-year and 10-year rates in the U.S. since 1980 and corresponding recessions. Will the same trend follow this time around? The recession concern is important for the Asymmetric Portfolio because it’s caused concern about the overvaluation of some high-flying stocks. $NVIDI

$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ Stocks reacted in a fairly neutral way after the Federal Reserve’s historically significant decision to jumpstart the rate cutting cycle with a 0.5%-point cut. But the real follow-through came on the day after the Fed meeting, perhaps after everyone slept on it. The S&P 500 surged 1.7% to close at a new record high on Thursday, September 19 (the first since July 16). The index is now up over 20% for the year. Hello everyone! Today i want to share some macro analysis with you! $Gold - main 2412(GCmain)$ In the European session on Friday (20 September), gold prices reached a new high after breaking the $2,600 mark. There will be some profit-taking in gold in the near future, but I remain mildly bullish on the outlook for gold for the rest of the year. The gold price may not reach the $3,000 milestone this year, but this level is my long-term target for gold as investors anticipate accelerated interest rate cuts by major central banks such as the Federal Reserve and factors such as ongoing geopolitical tensions and central bank purchases of gold create a positive phase for the gold price! $XAU/USD(XAUUSD.
