In the Episode 2, we have selected the topic “Summer Rally or Market Correction? Predicting Market Trends in June” for you. Under this theme, Tigers actively shared their predictions on the market trend.
Judging from the overall situation of Tiger’s comments, we see that some Tigers think it will be a summer rally. They believe that summer is a peak period for tourism and leisure activities, which may stimulate consumer spending and market activity, thereby driving the stock market higher. However, others hold the viewpoint of market correction. They believe that summer is a period of relatively low trading activity, which can result in reduced market liquidity and lower trading volume, thereby increasing market uncertainty and volatility.
Now, let's see what's the Tigers Say? Hope we can learn from their insights.(As a reward, the above contributors of this article will receive 15 Tiger Coins.)
1.Tigers who support Summer Rally
I would go for summer rally, main catalyst is China market. 6 months into reopening, They have been resilient to U.S. rate hike, bank crisis. It is time for Chinese ADRs to shine.
@ZEROHERO 🙋🙋
Although June has been a flat month seasonally, the third year of the US presidential election has been a slightly stronger June historically. Likely a rally this June, especially if the Fed announces or even hints of a pause in rates hike during FOMC. Time will tell soon 😉
@Brocco🙋🙋
Still thinks it is summer rally. Inflation data is still high even though it seems like interest is getting in control but yet reducing
The bulls are really going to start in June, and the total number of positions in the market According to various data, it has proved that the market sentiment is improving, and the market expectations are good, various controls have been relaxed, the economy has indeed recovered, and the Fed’s interest rate hike is almost the same. This is the start of the bull market in June. Base.
2.Tigers who support market correction
@Alubin 🙋🙋
I think it is gonna be a market correction. Inflation doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.
@Cris0 🙋🙋
I hope is market correction. Bull trending is definitely welcome. The market has been down for awhile. Now its time to see improvements
@Kok 🙋🙋
June has historically been one of the weakest months for the stock market. It will make sense to sell now or sell call options to make a profit, then buy them back again at the end of the month.
with the high interest rates, even in the 3rd year of the US election cycle, I don't see how we can rally from this point in the market. I say max max is flat and consolidating
with fed trying to combat inflation, with recent bank episodes, uncertainty in the economy, etc. I think the market is going in the direction of market correction. [Smile][Smile][Smile]
@fxaw 🙋🙋
It should go down and the AI rally will bust again. This AI rally is defying gravity, but again, Ultron can fly [Happy]
3.Some viewpoints of other Tigers
@Shyon🙋🙋
I guess it would be another way, as most of the investors feel market will having a correction in June. The 80 20 principle always true, when 80% people feel the market is going to have correction, usually it won't as every investor is in a cautious move. I believe the technical indicator that the recent breakout will be a sign of short to midterm bull.
@pekss 🙋🙋
I’m not good at timing the market, much less to buy at bottoms and sell at tops. However, I believe that time in the market will generate higher overall returns over time compared with timing the market. Hence, I would stay invested in the broad market and blue chips, and collect dividends while the market runs its course, as I await time to compound the returns.
That is all the content of this episode.

- orsiri·2023-06-15TOPPredicting market trends in June is challenging. Historically, summer rallies have occurred due to increased trading activity. However, a market correction can’t be ruled out, given various factors like economic indicators and geopolitical tensions. Monitoring new markets like China is crucial, as its impact on global markets continues to grow.1Report
