[Events] Have you ever YOLO-ed in your life?
Everyone’s investment journey contains stories of successes and failures. Just as what Brendawg324 did when he would have made 140k but finally lost 30k in just 2 days. However, he remained optimistic about the future.
This guy bought $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ 322.50 calls expiring this friday worth all of his life savings (roughly 35k), the next day META opened in the green and he was 50% up but as a true wsb legend he diamond-handed his way to a 10k loss in the afternoon selling every contract.
To make everything better, he then proceeded to buy with the remaining money 218 contracts of 15.50 calls of the company that shouldn’t be named, only to lose 60% today (at the time of this post) on those same contracts.
If you think this is the worst just take into consideration that those initial META 322.50 contracts today skyrocketed 300%, so if he had diamond handed another day he would have actually managed to make 140K.
At the age of 20, Brendawg324 gambled nearly all of their $38,000 savings. Did you ever make a similar bold investment decision? Have you ever YOLO-ed in your life? However painful the lesson maybe, it serves as a reminder that it is important to be cautious and do my own research before rushing in to invest in an IPO.

Whether you decide to invest, sell or hold, always make sure that you know why you are taking the decision.
Conduct proper research to ensure that your decisions are reasonable.
Your investment decisions must be data-driven & not sentiment/ reputation-driven.
My advice to fellow investors is not to play on penny stocks and focus on the megacap stocks with huge momentum. Do note @Ah_Meng @Ryan_Z0528 @StevenHarris @MojoStellar @Ah_Meng @Universe宇宙
Hanging on to YINN now after low break low and hoping for the best.
My holding was initially in the green and quite profitable. BUT, went through twice reverse stock splits, and all my holdings disintegrated into almost nothing. [Sad] @koolgal @LMSunshine
1st round of investment was TopGlove, make a 62% gains. The feeling was at the top of the world.
Feeling like investing is a great opportunity.
Then human instinct kicks in, greed overtook my common sense, in for the gold rush.
Next up, Supermax which I went in for the "kill", end up the market pull back.... and I was the bait.
The ending was painful. Loss what I started with and more.
They say when failure happens, embraced it. Fail fast and fail forward.
It's a painful lessons which I guess the patient requires the medication...
Best advise would be to not to experience it [Sweats]
