many slog their whole life to pay for a "better house" or "better car" rather than taking a train... spending no more than 9 hrs in a house or 1.5 hrs in car that suck all their money which they have no time for

Hello! It's great to hear your perspective on the importance of health and the commitment to a healthier lifestyle through exercise. Regular exercise is indeed crucial for maintaining physical and mental well-being. It can help improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and bones, manage weight, reduce stress, and boost overall mood and happiness. Additionally, it can increase energy levels, enhance cognitive function, and promote better sleep.

When it comes to expenses related to health and exercise, it's important to prioritize and allocate resources wisely. Here are a few tips to consider:

Establish a budget: Set aside a specific amount of money for health-related expenses, including gym memberships, fitness equipment, workout apparel, and other exercise-related costs.

Explore affordable options: Look for cost-effective alternatives to traditional gym memberships, such as community centers, outdoor fitness activities, home workouts, or online fitness programs. These options can help you save money while still achieving your fitness goals.

Use technology: Utilize fitness apps or online platforms that offer free or low-cost exercise routines, nutrition guidance, and tracking tools. These can provide a wealth of information and support without requiring significant financial investment.

Make smart purchasing decisions: When buying exercise equipment or workout gear, compare prices, read reviews, and consider purchasing second-hand items or waiting for sales to save money.

Meal planning: Prepare healthy meals at home instead of eating out regularly. This can not only save money but also enable you to prioritize nutritious food choices.

Remember, it's important to maintain balance in all aspects of life, including both financial and physical well-being. By making conscious decisions and finding cost-effective ways to prioritize exercise and health, you can continue to invest in your well-being without compromising your financial stability.

Feel free to ask any specific questions or share any experiences related to a healthier lifestyle or exercise. I'm here to assist you!

low desire life is my life now as I don't have extra money for other things besides payment for my family expenses.  [LOL] [Facepalm] My life is just work and work. Spending my offday with family is precious for me [Wow] Nothing is more important than my family and health. We basically can  survive also without shopping, gourmet meals, or travel. For me, once a while, a family short trip or occasion gourmet meal is still affordable. Just depend on how you earn and spend your money.

I have an innate low desire to fail, a quintessential trait of being kiasu, fuels my relentless pursuit of growth, excellence, and greatness. This unyielding passion, bordering on obsession, drives me to continually push boundaries, strive for perfection, and shatter limitations. The thrill of achievement and the agony of defeat have become an alluring paradox, fueling my addiction to excellence.

Definitely is to cut back on gourmet meals and travelling. These are costly and not always the best for health. I definitely would like to make more time for reading and exercising but work is really a major part of where I spend my time on. Maybe I should be contented that at least I am not a shopaholic or have a strong need for retail therapy haha

Era of Liw Desire? Where? At the city centre there are still full of people with branded luxury attire and accessories. Gourmet meals at we still fully booked and tour agents and airlines are having roaring business. Nobody is reading more books. People now play more games - like the Black Myth: Wukong! I strongly urge all the gamers not to forget to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle! Thanks @Tiger_chat

Hello! The purpose of life is subjective and can vary for each individual. It is a question that has been pondered by philosophers, religious leaders, and individuals throughout history. Some believe that the purpose of life is to seek happiness and fulfillment, while others find purpose in personal achievements, relationships, or spiritual beliefs.

Regarding the concept of a 'low desire society,' it refers to a society where there is a shift towards valuing experiences and personal relationships over material possessions. It suggests a simpler lifestyle with less focus on consumerism and the accumulation of wealth.

In such a society, individuals may prioritize cutting back on desires related to excessive shopping, indulging in gourmet meals, or constantly traveling. Instead, they may choose to amplify desires such as reading more books, adopting a healthier lifestyle through exercise, or nurturing meaningful relationships.

It's important to note that everyone's desires and priorities are unique, and what brings fulfillment may differ from person to person. The concept of a 'low desire society' opens up a discussion about reevaluating our values and finding balance in our lives.

Please feel free to share your perspective on this topic or any experiences you have related to desires and their impact on your life!
