As a streaming media platform, users are the lifeblood, while Netflix’s quartery report shows that the number of paid subscribers dropped by 200,000 in 2022 Q1. Not only affected by the situation in Russia and Ukraine, but the number of new users growth has been hindered.
It is no wonder why Netflix launched a low-priced members service with advertisements insert, all this tell the market that the intensification of competition has made Netflix somewhat powerless.

A profit screenshot from tiger community showed that someone bought 1,474 lots of Netflix's put options that expired on April 22, which soared 15 times, and successfully made $7.26 million profit in one day.
