This is definitely a good news and a great stimulus to Singapore economy. Chinese tourists are famous with their spending power, no? Haha 😂. For such, I believe that stocks listed in SGX specially in the hospitality, transport and retail sectors will set for a boost with the relaxation of visa regulations between China and Singapore. The aviation industry also stands to gain from more Chinese visitor arrivals, which will benefit $SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$  $SATS LTD.(S58.SI)$ and taxi service for the tourist to move around in Singapore like $ComfortDelGro(C52.SI)$

How International Travel and Hospitality Stocks Will React To Visa Free Travel

On 07 Dec, Singapore DPM Lawrence Wong announced during the 19th Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) held in Tianjin that China and Singapore are seeking to establish a mutual 30-day visa-free travel arrangement to boost people exchanges between the two countries According to DPM, the movement of people between Singapore and China has been improving and flights between the two markets have almost recovered to the pre-pandemic level. I think certain sector especially the international travel and hospitality sector would benefit more from Visa free travel, this is not limited to only Singapore China, as travel has resumed to almost pre-pandemic level. But we need to be aware of how many arrivals actually came with length of stays more than 15, 30 and even more. The following count

These three aviation stocks - Singapore Airlines (SIA),  Singapore Airl Terminal Services (SATS) and SIA Engineering (SIAEC) will certainly benefit with Singapore and China establishing a thirty day mutual visa exemption arrangement for ordinary passport holders in early 2024. Air traffic to Singapore is set to rise further in 2024 then. SIA stands to benefit greatly in this mutual agreement as out of a population of China's 1.4billion people about 140 million have a passport and they are likely to come to Singapore due to the similarity between the two cointries' cultures. This is indeed very positive for the three aviation stocks mentioned.  China and Singapore look forward to attain pde-pandemic travel levels. SIA expect its passenger capacity to hit 100% w
