Which S'pore Stocks Would Benefit From 30D Visa-Free Travel?
Singapore and China are working on a mutual 30-day visa exemption, expected to start in early 2024.
Currently, Chinese citizens need visas for entering Singapore. This new arrangement will boost travel between the countries.
If more Chinese tourists come to Singapore, which Singapore stocks would benefit from increasing travel demand?
$SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$ : As a prominent airline, SIA could see gains as passenger demand increases.
$SATS LTD.(S58.SI)$ : Offers gateway services and food solutions for airlines and could see growth as air travel resumes.
$Genting Sing(G13.SI)$ : This company operates Resorts World Sentosa, a popular integrated resort.
$Straco(S85.SI)$ : Owns and operates tourist attractions like the Singapore Flyer and the Underwater World Singapore.
$CapLand IntCom T(C38U.SI)$ : While not directly in the travel sector, it includes commercial properties like malls and hotels that can benefit from increased tourism.
Can you think of other Singapore stocks could benefit from visa-free policy?

🌟🌟🌟Singapore has welcomed 11.3 million visitors in 2023 falling short of Singapore Tourism Board's expectations of 12 to 14 million arrivals for the full year. The new 30 day visa would certainly boosts this figure.
$CapLand IntCom T(C38U.SI)$ will certainly be one of the key beneficiaries. It owns and manages 11 retail malls as well as 5 integrated developments in Singapore. They are Capita Springs, Funan, Raffles City Singapore, Plaza Singapura, The Atrium@ Orchard as well as Bedok Mall, Bugis Junction and many others.
Chinese Tourists love to shop and eat. These malls are well located and would see increased foot traffic once the 30 day visa to Singapore is approved.

Singapore Airlines and its budget arm, Scoot, carried around 17.4 million passengers during the half-year, an increase of 52.3% year-on-year. The group expects to return to pre-Covid passenger capacity levels within fiscal 2024-2025, source : reuters
Top 10 international airlines for 2023, according to Bounce: Japan Airlines (8.28) Singapore Airlines (7.63) Qatar Airways (7.5). So i think SIA will benefit.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) will resume flights to four cities in China from Nov 26, while budget carrier Scoot will relaunch its Singapore-Changsha route.
All five routes had been halted in 2023.
SIA will roll out services between Singapore and four destinations – Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Xiamen – which had been suspended for regulatory reasons.
Then my other stocks i hope to benefit $Sasseur Reit(CRPU.SI)$ with more shoppers in China
Lets go China for business and leisure 😍
