Being in construction industry brings awareness of construction materials like $PanUnited(P52.SI)$ $BRC ASIA LIMITED(BEC.SI)$ , construction players, real estate and supporting companies like dormitory providers. An example of how I used my knowledge is $Centurion(OU8.SI)$. They are dormitory providers. Their prices was very depressed during covid as workers were sent back due to shutting down of construction sites. Post covid, when construction restarted, it was extremely difficult to bring in wokers as there wasn’t enough dormitories. My company was struggling to bring back workers and basically have to beg for slots in dormitories. During that time, I

I am working in a public listed company. I do not have any access to the company good or bad news before the public announcement. However, we can roughly able to gauge whether the company is doing well financially or not from our bonus and pay increment. Therefore, the public company staff will have the advantage to decide early whether to buy or to sell the company shares in good time or bad time respectively.

As an analyst, my job requires me to sift through vast amounts of information daily. But after a long day of crunching numbers and analyzing trends, I crave a break from the mental clutter. That's when I turn to Tiger Brokers, my trusted investment platform. With the financial resources provided by my job, I can invest in assets that interest me and watch my money grow. It's a refreshing change of pace from the noise of big data, and a way for me to take control of my financial future.

Most employees have no idea of the financial performance. Only few select groups are fortunate to have the visibility. In the last company I worked, the stock price always moved the opposite direction to the performance. They call it the analyst way.

My job is not useful for investments at all! Anyway there are so many industries available and even in the same industry, it is impossible to get all the insider news for all the companies. The only benefit that I can think of is familiarity and ease of understanding the information of the industry. Learning how to evaluate the companies is independent of one’s job. Worst case scenario would be just to buy ETF of the world index like VTI, very minimal hard work needed and fairly low risk. The main role of my job is to give me constant stream of money to buy stocks [LOL]
