Tesla and BYD are the world's largest electric-vehicle makers, becoming more direct competitors in China and much of the world. A lot of attention is focused on EV startups such as Nio (NIO), Li Auto (LI), Xpeng (XPEV), Rivian (RIVN) and Lucid (LCID). Efforts by traditional auto giants such as General Motors (GM), Ford Motor (F) and Volkswagen (VWAGY) also get coverage. However, Tesla and BYD stand apart. Last week, the market welcomed a new EV player, Xiaomi! With the impressive of its new EV SU7, Lei claimed the standard version of the SU7 beat the Model 3 on more than 90% of its specifications, except on two aspects that he said it might take Xiaomi at least three to five years to catch up with Tesla on. He also said the SU7 had a minimum driving range of 700 kilometers

I am very happy that my P&L calendar for the month of March 2024 shows a profit of 2.4% as shown in the screenshot below especially after many months in deep red for my portfolio. The S&P 500 posted its best first-quarter performance going back to 2019, up 10%, as stocks rode a wave of enthusiasm around the prospect of rate cuts coming later this year, as well as the potential of artificial intelligence to bolster corporate profits. Most of my US stocks are in green but most of my Singapore stocks are in red. Hopefully with the coming interest rate cuts, everyone’s portfolio will turn to deep green 🍀 🍀 soon and our stock price will keep going “To the Moon” 🚀🚀

*TA as of 29/3/24 Hi everyone! I’ll be updating my TA on a stock I deemed to be “extremely explosive to the upside” previously: Carvana Co. (NYSE: CVNA) Since the time I last posted on CVNA at the end of January, it has seen a 100+% gain to hit new 52-week highs at 94.04. However, I have reason to believe that the move up is weakening. Bearish divergence has begun to show up on the weekly chart, and the move up has been on declining volume. A lack of participation at and above the 23.6% Fib extension at 91.64 (assuming swing low of 3.55, which is the last major low and a swing high of 376.83, which is the ATH) suggests that there will be a pullback to retest supports further down.
