Do You Know Which MBTI Personality Dominates the World of Investing?

Welcome to Thursday Special!

Do you know who the most representative personality and figure in the MBTI 16 personality types for finance are?

If you don't know what personality type you are, click here to start the test~ <MBTI TEST>

Here are some of the MBTI types of financial experts. Come and see if your personality is on the list~

Genius Player INTJ

Gary Brinson, the father of global asset allocation, once said that in the long run, about 90% of investment returns come from successful asset allocation. All NT types are good at strategic planning, adept at research, and excel in overall control and risk management. They are the calmest and most focused. Faced with a plethora of financial products, INTJs don't blindly follow but are accustomed to finding the best financial solutions. They anticipate possible surprises and risks and prepare solutions in advance.

Representative figure: Elon Musk $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$

It's okay to put all your eggs in one basket, as long as you can control what happens in that basket.

Financial Alchemist ENTP

Like all NP types, being laid-back is a characteristic of ENTPs. Making mistakes and committing low-level errors are common, and like most NT types, subjects that don't require exploring principles are ENTPs' weaknesses at the beginning of financial management. However, ENTPs have strong intuition, and their philosophical thinking gives them endless ideas. They can predict the development direction of anything, and once they use this ability well, they can earn a lot.

Representative figure: Financial mogul George Soros

To gain wealth, the approach is to recognize its illusion, get involved, and then exit the game before the illusion is recognized by the public.

Ultimate Boss Player INTP

INTPs, also known as "logical geniuses," value logic, key points, and analytical abilities. They focus on the events themselves and study them carefully. They have strong predictive and analytical abilities, are skeptical, critical, and love analysis. No one is more passionate and capable of discovering and exploring problems than INTPs. They are very suitable for investment, as they have a strong ability to generalize reality and can see the most "principle-based" needs behind phenomena. They can quickly make holistic abstractions and integrations, forming an objective and most suitable logical system for the thing, and using the appropriate way to deal with it.

Representative figure: Adam Smith

When a person achieves results and receives rewards, he not only cares about the absolute amount of his rewards but also cares about the relative amount of his rewards.

Refined Financial Genius ISTJ

ISTJs are highly sensitive to numbers and are known as "refined financial geniuses" and "behind-the-scenes manipulators." ISTJs observe the visible and tangible realities in the world and deal with them objectively. For them, the most important things in daily life are structure, process, and order. They are obsessed with data, work very focused, have strong logic and insight, can make calm and objective financial plans, and persistently achieve goals.

Representative figure: Warren Buffett $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.A)$ $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$

Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful.

Living-in-the-Moment Practitioner ESTP

ESTP is possibly one of the most charming and adept-at-seizing-the-moment types among the 16 personality types. They often ignore any immediate or future difficulties and try everything (even unscrupulous means) to complete the current task in the most advantageous way for themselves. They have the strongest adaptability and the sharpest investment insight. Their sensitivity and persistence in current interests make ESTPs a type that never suffers immediate losses. ESTPs are good at achieving wealth growth with a low principal, even without awareness and reserves for financial planning. Their skills enable them to navigate the investment field with ease.

Representative figure: Jordan Belfort, the Wolf of Wall Street

When you do something, you may fail, but failure doesn't mean you're inherently a loser; it's because you haven't fully grasped the trick.

🎅🏻 ISTJ-A is my personality type I found after done the MBTI test. A refined financial genius with Warren Buffett as representative figure! I do use data, work very focused, have strong logic and insight, can make calm and objective financial plans, and persistently achieve goals. My investment concept is: First allocate a portion of my funds in Index Funds, ETFs and Reits. With these safe portfolio of stocks i can beat inflation and ride along with the economy in the long term. I make regular reviews of my portfolio. I also set aside some money for trading stocks because i also like exploring new opportunities and go roller coaster! 🎢🎢🎢 Thanks 🐯 friends for tag @GoodLife99 @icycrystal Tag more to come here @Kok @Shyon @Kok @rL @Universe宇宙 [ShakeHands]

    My MBTI is ISTJ.

Below are my investment concepts :

Invest in a diversified portfolio of low-cost index funds or ETFs. This will give me exposure to a broad range of assets and help to minimize my risk.

Rebalance my portfolio regularly. This will help to ensure that my investments are still aligned with my risk tolerance and financial goals.

Avoid market timing. I am not well-suited for trying to time the market, as this is a risky and often unsuccessful endeavor.

Invest for the long term. I will focus on building wealth gradually over time rather than trying to make quick profits.

Seek professional advice if needed.  I may consider working with a financial advisor to get personalized recommendations.

🌟🌟🌟Living in the moment or ESTP type personifies Focusing on the present rather than the future.  That 's me.

I love to explore any opportunity that comes my way.  I am outgoing and love to talk and interact with people from all walks of life.

I am sometimes quite impulsive and act on the spur of the moment when I have some bright ideas.

I am a "Carpe Diem" kind of person, seizing whatever opportunities that are present.

    I'm ISTJ-T.

That now explains why  I concur with  Warren Buffett's investing approaches towards ETFs (low cost index funds) and stocks  (value stocks) though my investment portfolio also consists of growth stocks and a litte of crypto (though he dislike it).

I believe it does not matter whichever investing style we adopt. The important factor is to abide with our respective chosen strategies for the long-term to reap fruitful results which our older selves in the future will thank our younger selves in the present times.

So I'm an entertainer, that's funny
For me personally, I go with the flow. Whatever seems to be the in thing or widely mentioned or discussed stocks, I would be interested to buy. Just buy and keep it there. Sell when I see profits lol.
I only invest a bit, up to how much I'm willing to lose. Because I don't really take losses well. Losing money can be sad though. So far, Lady Luck is smiling on me, no losses yet.

infj, i think value investing and having a diversified portfolio is the best way to invest! however, i dont really think ur mbti would determine if you will be successful in the stock market. utlimately u need to know what you are doing, do your own research and work hard to achieve your own success
