Please briefly introduce yourself, share your personal investment growth experience, and how you made your first bucket of gold in the market? ​

I am options puppy here. Started investing with Tiger in 2020 buying some Singapore stocks like STI ETF $Straits Times Index(STI.SI)$ and some like ESR REITs. Started learning options one fine day with Manulife selling its call and put options. Made a total of $1000 plus USD over the years . And as much as $647 on a single call option

This is your Trade Feed Investment Philosophy, "Invested in QQQM, PLTR, MFC, Google, and Apple. Weekly PLTR options trader for enhanced returns". Can you explain why you choose these tickers?

I choose $Invesco NASDAQ 100 ETF(QQQM)$ because it allows me to diversify into all magnificent 7 like $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ , Google and Apple which I think will be the next 20-50% growth in total for the next 5 years.

For $Manulife(MFC)$ , I like it for being a cash cow business, giving me nearly 0.30 or 1% dividend every 3 months with good earnings. Furthermore, I sell call options on Manulife earning around an extra 4 to 5% every 3 to 5 months.

For $Alphabet(GOOG)$ , I am vested even before the stock spilt as I am thinking why not get 100 shares of Google to sell covered calls weekly and get paid weekly? Or once every month or two. I also started selling puts to have an extra premium as I do not mind picking up an extra 100 shares of Google when it falls to the strike price of the contract. The profits can range from 200 to $1000 monthly.

For $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ I feel is more of a growth stock as it’s starting to have positive earnings when I first started trading it as low as $13 to $14. I would sell cash secured puts every few months and get the full premiums when the options expired.

What strategies will you usually use in trading options?

My most used strategy involves using the strangle option strategy for dividend stocks. For example, I would own 100 shares of a stock like Manulife, currently priced at $23.10. I would then sell a put option with a strike price of $20, expiring in 2 to 4 months, for a premium of $0.30. Additionally, I would sell a call option at $23, expiring in 3 to 5 months, for a premium of $1.50. This approach allows me to generate income from both the premiums and any dividends received from the stock.

This way I get to have almost a 7% ($1.50+ 0.30 = $1.80) premium on the strategy every 3 to 5 months.

What is the most successful or impressive investment experience you have had?

My most successful investment will be when I bought 100 shares of PLTR at $18 and sold a call at $20 with a premium of $2. And the stock got called away. In this trade I made almost $4 or $400 ($200 from the price rise and also $200 from the premium I received) with a low capital of $1600.

How do you control risks?

I control risk by keeping half of my available cash in Tiger vault and only trading with half of my capital. So in effect of having a market crash I am still able to dollar average effectively to smooth out the shock like during COVID or the last big correction during the interest rate rise.

Could you introduce your current assets allocation, and what is your follow-up trading plan?

My current asset allocation is around 60% in stocks and stock options and around 40% in Tiger Vault . Have been regularly topping up around $1400 into Tiger monthly for the monthly mission and also treating it as an investment . I am regularly buying into ETFs like QQQM and $SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF(SPYG)$ in order to have 100 shares to sell a call option.

What do you think the market will perform in 2024? And what's your investment goal this year?

I think the market should continue to be up above 5000 points. I will like to continue my monthly profits of $500 to $1000 per month.

Trade safely and pick good stocks or stocks you think are good if u are selling cash secured puts or covered calls.
