After an Exciting May, What's Your June Game Plan?
The anticipated May sell-off in the market didn't happen. As of May 30th, the S&P 500 rose by 4% this month.
May was a delightful time for both value investors and speculators.
Whether it was the surge of $Apple(AAPL)$ and $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ or the rollercoaster rides of $GameStop(GME)$ and $Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.(FFIE)$ , investors found opportunities to profit.
May started off with $Apple(AAPL)$ $110 billion buyback, driving the market higher.
$Microsoft(MSFT)$’s AI conference also fueled interest in the AIPC.
$GameStop(GME)$’s meme frenzy followed and made a 100% surge in just three days.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ earnings report on May 22 ignited the market, leading to substantial gains for all AI companies.
Despite $Dell Technologies Inc.(DELL)$’s lower-than-expected profit margins in yesterday's earnings report, the AIPC concept is expected to continue evolving in the future.
After reaching 5340 points, $S&P 500(.SPX)$ began to pull back. The average target point for the S&P 500 from 14 institutions is 5300, with the median at 5400.

I have sold little position to lock profits.
Dividend investors have been hit hard by rising interest rates and the current market environment. But I've stuck with it, continued adding position in the down turn if I have idle cash.
From beginning of Fed rate hikes to now(2022-2024), I got positive ROR, collected 30k dividend
Singapore Dividends are not taxed at a personal level.
The SG market has a low PE ratio.
Picking SG blue chips with the highest dividend yields can actually result in higher returns and lower risk.

I see Jun will be a quiet month for stock markets. I will use the early Jun to draw out another 'map" for stock markets, especially SG market.
