Tiger has been thriving for 10 years!

Do you remember the very first trade when you joined Tiger?

My first trade on Tiger was $Activision Blizzard(ATVI)$, which was acquired by $Microsoft(MSFT)$. Due to the high certainty of this acquisition, Activision Blizzard was a great pick for earning premiums.

Did your first trade influence your later investment style?

For me, this influenced my subsequent investment style, making me more inclined to trade options.

Of course, I encountered some pitfalls initially.

For example, my $Apple(AAPL)$ short put was forcefully closed during the National Day holiday, resulting in significant losses.

Fortunately, Apple is a very stable stock and I earn it back.

    I can't remember but I think should be $Mapletree Ind Tr(ME8U.SI)$

    was subscribing to a MF and somehow got into stocks as well [Happy] [Happy] [Happy]

    along the way, subscribed to more MF and more stocks and kept going... [Grin] [Grin] [Grin]

    journey has its ups and downs as some stocks at times decided to dive down. fortunately, these stocks trended up eventually, praying they will stay this way [Bless] [Bless] [Bless]

    My every First trade on Tiger is Thai Beverages. Keep until now still minus 33% 🤣 @Tiger_comments just have to continue earn dividend to cover the loses. Not really have faith in this stock as won't DSA

    Classic rookie mistake! Bought $Stryker(SYK)$ instead of $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$. Luckily it worked out. Even seasoned traders fat finger orders sometimes. The important thing is i learned from it and $SYK has been treating me well. This long-term hold became my portfolio anchor.
