Avatar 2 Might Lose Money?
How expensive is “Avatar: The Way of Water”? Early reports have claimed the estimated budget of $350–460 million. It is one of the most expensive films ever made.
Cameron said that
his sequel budget was so high it represented “the worst business case in movie history."
You have to be the third or fourth highest-grossing film in history. That’s your break even.”
On the current chart of highest-grossing movies worldwide, Cameron’s original 2009 “Avatar” ranks at the top with 2.9 billion. Disney’s “Avengers: Endgame” is in second position with 2.7billion, while Cameron’s “Titanic” remains in the third slot with 2.1 billion.
Although the first week witnessed healthy box office data, Avatar 2 doesn't present a strong momentum to fulfill the directors' 2 bln goal.

In addition to the box office, Avatar 2 can also potentially drive new traffic to Disney’s Avatar theme park, the Pandora – The World of Avatar, in Florida. New movies are always able to drive strong visitor attendance and revenue for the park in the initial weeks of movie release.
Moreover, Avatar 2 will strengthen Disney Plus subscription upon adding to Disney’s portfolio of blockbuster movies. All these combination of these factors makes Disney a bullish investment option!
🌈🌈🌈Avatar 2 is Top of My Christmas Must Watch Movie after waiting since 2009 when Avatar 1 made an indelible impression on me. I know that with James Cameron 's creative genius Avatar 2 will be even better than Avatar 1.
I will be transported to the magical world of Pandora and be immersed with Jake Sully and Neytiri's latest adventures. That is wonder of Disney's "unparalleled story telling". There will also be Avatar 3, 4 and 5 which will keep Avatar fans like me really happy.
Disney is the world's largest entertainment conglomerate.
It also has a huge number of successful movie franchises like Marvel Heroes, Star Wars. Disney is into online streaming business, Theme Parks and even Cruise Ships.
I believe that Disney's storytelling days are not over by a long shot. At the current price of 86.92, it is a Buy with a huge discount of 45%. With Bob Iger as CEO, Disney will forge new pathways to growth and the next chapter of Disney is about to begin.

I am bullish on $Walt Disney(DIS)$ with the list of movies all lined up for this festive season, of which many are highly anticipated by fans out there. It’s not just a season of joy, but also a time when people tend to enjoy, busk and spend more. This will definitely translate into higher revenue/profits for Disney. Some (albeit unlikely to be a huge group) may even start subscribing to Disney+ if the new movies are able to impress.
With Bog Iger back at the helm for Disney, we may slowly see a turnaround as Bob works his magic.
Walt Disney has too many franchises to fail and with so many talents and expansion routes, it's a no brainer....Disney+ is getting good results too.. @daz888888888 @melson @LMSunshine @onlyusedtesla @Yea910 @Limcc @CourtneyDS @CaptainTiger @stkwok
Avatar: The Way of Water has surpassed the $1B milestone at the global box office, Walt Disney says. That comes after just 14 days of release, making it the sixth film ever to hit that worldwide mark in two weeks. With a general 30%/70% split, the film has made more than $300M of that worldwide total in North America. The $700M-plus coming overseas is particularly impressive considering ongoing COVID-19 impact holding down revenues in China, which have reached just $108M so far.
i love watching blockbuster action movies on the big screen, but i have no access to movie theaters in my area.
Definitely I am bullish in $Walt Disney(DIS)$ , it is relatively fair value now and it is a dividend stock.
