Just like investment, life is full of surprises. Its a matter of how we deal with it & manage risk with a game plan
Its a very touching movie and shows life challenges and raising to the occassion. Tough times dun last, tough men do. [Victory]
One of my favourite movies is the Greed of Man. Produced in 1992, almost 30 years ago, it still garners so much attention. In fact, it has been said everytime it is played, the stock market falls. There is even a name for it, which is the "Ting Hai" effect.
This picture of the movie, is a meme and signifies something bad has happened.
I love the movie because it used the stock market as a medium to punish evil, but it started by enriching the bad guy. Indeed, it is a classic underdog story, which still resonates with viewers today.

This quote is my mantra in the stock market - “there are three ways to make a living in this business: be first, be smarter, or cheat.”
Say YES to a sequel!
A Great Movie remains indelibly in our memories long after it is over. Being a romantic at heart, I love "Pretty Woman" starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. It is a modern day version of Cinderella and tells of a fairy tale romance of a corporate executive and a street walker or lady of the night.
Pretty Woman is not only a love story but one of transformation from an ugly duckling to a swan. Julie Roberts was transformed from a humble country girl to a stunning beauty that is poised and confident. When she first went shopping at Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, she was scorned by the sales person in a shop. When she later went back, this sales person could not recognise her and was warmly welcomed.
I love the Happy Ending when Richard Gere came back for Julia Roberts in a white limousine to rescue her just like a Knight rescuing a damsel in distress. It was so romantic and I even shed a tear. Now that is the impact of a Great Movie!
