[ICYMI Due to NY] Did Uber Get a "Taylor Swift Bump" in 2023?

It could be argued that no other company epitomizes the “gig economy” quite like Uber Technologies, Inc ($Uber(UBER)$) does. “Gig” companies offer services often for free to end users, contend with intense competition due to their inherent reproducibility, and have long periods of negative fiscals as they spend their way through successful years on advertising, new service rollouts and promotions to keep their end users engaged. On the 7th of February, Uber announced its Q4 results that highlighted that the company is nearing a breakout from the red: for the first time since 2018, the company’s net income seemingly registered a decisively positive net income of over $1.4 billion for the entire year of 2023. Amazon: AWS Alone Can't be a Growth Driver

Shortly after Amazon.com Inc ( $Amazon.com(AMZN)$) released its earnings for Q4 2023 on the 1st of February, the stock experienced a rather quick rally northwards. The bulk of the rationale for this was attributed to strong holiday sales in Q4. However, buried deep within its numbers and assertions made during the earnings call lie an interesting rationale for a buy-in: the company's essentially is looking to become a "growth stock" again.  A Deep Trend Drilldown Amazon is a complicated mess: three entirely different businesses - e-commerce, cloud solutions and media - reside within a single stock essentially branded as a "tech" company which can finance itself (if it chooses to) by issuing debt with a relatively lower yield since "tech" bond

$美国超微公司(AMD)$  Everything you need to know about $AMD, in 8 bullet points. 1. $AMD's rise over the last decade has been the result of the company betting on chiplets. Chiplets consist in making a chip out of many small chips, instead of making a big one (monolithic) directly like $NVDA does. This is how it has disrupted $INTC and how it is now poised to disrupt $NVDA. 2. We are nearing the "end" of Moore's Law. That said, the strikes did highlight NFLX's deep library of content that sustained (and arguably strengthened) their financial position in the short run and weakened their domestic competitors. Some might argue this is an anti-fragile characteristic which is hard to find.NFLX bought back ~$5B in stock over the last (3) quarters. While the current business may be getting close to saturation (I think there is plenty of room globally), they have the platform and capital to change. $Netflix(NFLX)$ check out the Golden Globe selections on Netflix. If they continue with that type of content, this can easily surpass 600 and if there is a sell off on upcoming earnings, I would back up the truckMelting up into earnings. Might be a monster move higher afterwards. Traditional cable dead, streaming growing. Plus they have so much original content, who needs traditional Holywood anymore. When a company can’t make profit competing against the dominant company in an industry it has to pull back allowing the dominant company to make even more profit.

$Netflix(NFLX)$ Price did not play out as expected and rallied +3.82% from my last analysis. I was expecting a bearish retracement into the bullish order block at 460.50 or 418.84. However, right now price is showing bearish momentum with increased volume, which happened after taking buy-side liquidity above 500.89. From here, I’m expecting price to make a bearish retracement, potentially back into the bullish order block at 460.50.

$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ Crypto Bitcoin GIF by ProBit GlobalAlways hard to predict when a stock actually hits a certain price. IMO, META should be worth at least $500 by the end of 2024.Buying and holding has worked for me for more than 50 years. And my daddy always said: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."The worst decisions of my investing career have been selling a stock. But I can learn. I never sell anymore.

$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ You at least held onto your shares bought at that low price. I know a couple of guys who sold off the moment it crossed the $100 level because they were spooked by the persimistics who were advocating a Sell for a level of $50. Those guys are now kicking themselves in the back for having done so. As regards the $1000 level my prediction is it will be reached by 2030. I had way back in Jan 23 2023 predicted the $400 level to be reached by Dec24 which I have raised to $500 by dec 24.
