Since today price moving above the previous day high, I have decided to open a bull put spread, with the outlook that the price stays above $265 at expiry.

Rather straight forward trade, while waiting for correction to come. Opinion is that market is still too bullish and will require a correction or dip before upward momentum continues

I opened $EL 20241101 110.0 CALL$  ,EL: collect 0.9% premium from this covered call with strike at $110 which is 17% higher than current rate. Contracts expires in 3 weeks on 1st Nov. recent EL stocks boosted by the Chinese stock market rise. As the main laggards on EL were Chinese sales. Will monitor how will this be sustained and translate back to revenue.

$BB 20241011 2.5 CALL$ Closed my call to earn some coffee money and roll the call to the next 2 week . The amount may not be so much but it is enough to pay for one week of my daily coffee at work . Covered calls are a good way to earn some side income on shares that you are stuck in. In the meantime , the IV of the shares has been reduced which means that premiums on the options are not so high. Will continue rolling the covered calls on partial holdings of blackberry .
