The AI Trade Has Entered a New Phase: Investors Want Returns, Not Bigger CapEx
The latest earnings season delivered a clear message: AI demand remains strong, but the market is becoming far more selective about how it rewards AI spending. $Alphabet(GOOG)$$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ and $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ both reported solid top-line results, yet their stocks sold off sharply after earnings. That wasn't because investors suddenly stopped believing in AI. It was because the conversation has shifted. Bigger AI budgets are no longer enough Alphabet continues to invest aggressively in AI infrastructure, with full-year capital expenditure expected to reach $180–190 billion. Revenue continued to grow, but investors focused on something else: capital spe

The High Cost of Compute: Big Tech’s AI CapEx Escalation, Earnings Volatility, and the Road to Profitability
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ ’s Q2 2026 earnings provided a stark visual of the new reality facing Big Tech: AI ambition requires massive, front-loaded capital expenditure (CapEx). Tesla signaled a full-year CapEx budget exceeding $25 billion, which pushed quarterly Free Cash Flow (FCF) into negative territory as compute infrastructure, FSD training, and Optimus robotics scaling ate into cash reserves. This dynamic extends far beyond Tesla—it is the prevailing operational model across mega-cap tech. 1. Will high AI spending burn rate remain the norm? Yes. High CapEx intensity is non-negotiable for any company competing at the frontier of AI. The industry is in the middle of a multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure overhaul that spans data center constructio

Mag 7 Loses Nearly $800 Billion: Is the Market Finally Charging AI for Its Spending?
Last night’s selloff felt like more than a normal pullback. The Nasdaq fell 2.15%, while the VIX jumped more than 12% to 18.7. $Tesla(TSLA)$ plunged 14.53%, and $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ dropped 7.13%. By several market estimates, the Magnificent Seven lost close to $800 billion in market value in a single session. At the same time, Brent crude moved above $100 per barrel and Treasury yields climbed. Two pressures hit growth stocks together: AI return concerns and renewed inflation risk. A week ago, the market was still rewarding companies for spending more aggressively on AI. Now investors are asking a harder question: When will all that spending turn into profit and free cash flow? 1. The capex scare finally a
Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideasi with you! 1 $Intel(INTC)$ earns its victory lap after a quarter that beats expectations across revenue, margins, earnings, manufacturing execution and guidance. Agentic AI is creating a second growth curve for server CPUs because every accelerator requires significant general-purpose compute around it giving Intel immediate exposure through its large server market share. That opportunity also extends into purpose-built silicon and advanced packaging allowing Intel to benefit from custom AI processors even when it does not control the accelerator itself. 2 $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ is the most profitable company in the world

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ I always take what Elon says with a pinch of salt but directionally he's been correct almost every time. Here's what he's saying on the robotics future: 1. Reinforced Optimus will be potentially the biggest product ever. -> Optimus 3 targets 1M units/year -> Optimus 4 targets 10M units/year Think of the numbers on that in terms of potential revenue: Assuming ~$30k value and selling all units (very broad assumption): -> Optimus 3 = $30B/year -> Optimus 4 = $300B/year Longer term remember Elon calls the revenue potential "north of $10 trillion." Probably early. Very early. But directionally he's consistently correct and this has to give you some confidence in the robotics future:
Robotics is moving so fast...here's some of the data from the last couple months: 1. Morgan Stanley put their TAM to $25T by 2050 (humanoid market at $5T). 2. We've had the first way to publicly invest in humanoids through $Churchill Capital Corp XI(CCXI)$. -> On that point, Agility uses ~75% US sourced parts (very bullish). 3. Private market deals have already topped $23B in 2026. -> Saronic: $1.75B raise -> Apptronik: $935M raise -> Figure AI: $39B valuation -> Neura Robotics: $1.4B raise The public markets haven't caught up to what's happening in the private markets yet. 4. Morgan Stanley put out a report forecasting a 300x growth in the bearings market by 2050. 5.
$S&P 500(.SPX)$ closed -90 on the day. If SPX gives up 7400 and closes under tomorrow we can see another dip towards 7330-7340 leading into FOMC on Wednesday. I would treat the upside as a quicker day trade until we see 7500 again. $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ almost dropped back to the June lows near 686 again but held and closed near 692. As long as 686 holds the uptrend is still intact this summer. QQQ under 686 can drop another 20-25 pts. $Micron Technology(MU)$ will test 1250 again this year. We need to see if MU can continue to form a base above 900 into August. MU July 24 1020C is best as a lotto above 1000 Good luck
GOLD: The Market has now Entered a “Critical Juncture” of Tug-of-war Between Bulls and Bears
After a strong pullback and rebound from 4023, gold is currently trading at 4030. $Gold - main 2608(GCmain)$$XAU/USD(XAUUSD.FOREX)$ The market has now entered a “critical juncture” of tug-of-war between bulls and bears. Given the lackluster rebound, the price may retest today’s lows in the 4023–4025 range to confirm whether the “double bottom” support at that level is valid. Meanwhile, the key intraday support is near 4,020; if this level is broken, the price will continue to test the 4,000–4,005 range! First near-term resistance: 4,038–4,042 (former resistance-turned-support level) For trading, focus primarily on entering sell positions after a rebound! Strateg

Anatomy of a Record Multiple $Apple(AAPL)$ has reached a critical valuation crossroads. On 17 Jul 2026, it hit an intraday high of $334.99, and that rally briefly pushed its market capitalization to about $4.88 trillion, nudging past $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $4.86 trillion. For a fleeting moment, AAPL reclaimed the pole position as the world’s most valuable publicly traded company. Hitting this scale puts enormous pressure on every future quarter to justify the price. Trading at nearly 11x sales, AAPL sits at its highest valuation multiple in company history. (see above) What makes this moment unusual is AAPL’s mix of leadership change, valuation expansion, and product-cycle optimism - hitting home all at once. Mar
