In the previous discussion, Would You Quit Your Job After Winning a $5 Million Jackpot?, most Tigers believed they would continue working even after winning the jackpot.

@Shyon also shared plans after winning the jackpot and discussed work plans if @Shyon didn't have to consider salary.

For most people, salary is an important factor when choosing a job.

So, today our discussion is: If you didn’t need to consider salary factor, what would your ideal job be?

If I didn't have to consider salary,

  1. I would want to host my own interview show. I love talking to others and hope to learn from their ways of dealing with things through conversation.

  2. Alternatively, I would like to be a barista, immersing myself in the aroma of coffee every day without needing to think too much.

  3. Or, I would learn to paint and then design clothes that I like.

I would only need to work 4-5 hours a day, leaving the rest of the time to spend with family and friends. Weekends or holidays would be for traveling.

    I would like to be a "zoo" keeper, immersing myself in the tigers enclosure every day without needing to think too much, talking to the tigers, and hoping to learn from their ways of dealing with visitors outside their enclosure. [Facepalm]

    I would probably invest more, do a flexible job and have more time for my passions, hobbies and go on world tour... will do charity as there are people who need help more than others...

    Ideal job! An interesting topic to think about and imagine. If without considering the salary, my ideal job would be surrounded by my personal interests.

    - To read daily financial and economical news and provide a summarized update on the key highlights to community, just like what I do currently in Tiger community.

    - To be a food critic as I am a food lover! Amazing dream if I can enjoy world class cuisines while working! 

    - Be a health company worker where I can get in touch with all the most advanced and latest health equipment, so that I can use them to protect against my families and friends health.

    Last wish is that my ideal job allows me to work flexibly whenever I want, sounds cool! Haha. Come and share about yours, guys.

    I would like to be a senior citizen or orphanage full time volunteer. Giving them the support and love. Seeing the smile and receiving a simple thank you, 谢谢, God bless, etc… can melt the heart. A very fulfilment job I would say.

    To be a tour guide so that i can travel for free [LOL][LOL].


    Many years back, i brought my family members and a closed family’s friend to Hainan. As it was F&E trip and i m the organiser, during hotel check-in, i took care of everything. During that time, i had a China visa due to my business trip, a local tour guide was asking me if i m one of them ie tour guide. I told her nope.

    to be a community gardener where I can spend my time working at community allotments to grow fruits & veges for everyone. in fact I'd campaign & get funding from the local govt & corporates to turn all the sidewalk lawns into vege patches!
